How will you load my furniture on the truck? Will you have help with the loading?
I live 12 miles from downtown Seattle and I have great help here trained my way. I also happen to have help in Florida who used to be in NY.
I read many feedback reports. Most of them are local moves. How many cross county moves have you done?
What are your payment requirements? Cash / Credit Card; how much up front; how much at delivery? Is there any situation that this is not a fixed price?
We need to move on September 13th (or within a day or two after that). We must be out of the house on the 15th. Can you give us a guarantee for that date?
Now half my work is referrals so I only bid on small jobs to fill up the truck or to pay fuel to get to the big job. My first job was moving a professor from Postdam, NY to Edmonton, last year I moved her from there to BC. I go from Victoria to FL, from Montreal to CA often. Since you are local I can accept a WA check instead of cash or your can deposit directly to my bank. I am not set for credit cards because I am too small. I require 1/3 down to put you in the schedule, 1/3 on loading, rest on delivery. There are no additional fees or taxes on my bids. I can comit to load you between Sept 13-15 if you accept & pay deposit now. I understand your needs.
Is there a way for us to use American Express to pay our 1/3 deposit?
According to the specs, my Infniti M45 Sedan is 4000 lbs.
I have asked my accountant who I know is set up with quick books with a merchant account. Even if you give her your credit card number today it will be 5-7 days before a check will rich her account. It is better for you too pull cash from it at your bank and deposit in my bank. There is also a fee she will get charge that my bank when I inquired it was 2-3 % of the amount received. If your trip was months away it would be different. As I said you can pay with a WA check. I would have to call Penske about your car but it looks fine.

Yes, please rebid and include the car. The packaging that is included in your bid, do you mean boxes, wrapping etc? Also, I would want to pay the remainder of the fee on delivery rather than pick up, as listed in the terms on your provider description page. Would appreciate 10 day bid expiration. Thanks!
Because of the distance, renting a car hauler, and your shipment taking an entire truck we have to complete balance by pick up. We will have a contract to protect you and your shipment. If you still want me to bid let me know. Melinda
What is the packaging referred to in your bid--boxes, wrap etc? Do you provide insurance? Please reoonsider your proposed payment terms; full payment by pick up is not competitive with other bids and messages I am receiving about this job. I would like to reserve 1/4 for payment upon delivery. Thanks.
My bid includes any packing and boxes. Insurance is available. I'm sorry, my payment terms are firm. This is due to the amount, 2 locations, and distance. I will rebid if those terms are acceptable. Just let me know. Melinda

Thank you for your bid. Please clarify payment terms, as two different sets of terms are noted--1/3, 1/3, 1/3 is the correct sequence, right? How much additional to transport my Infiniti M45 sedan to Orlando on a carrier?
I am sorry I changed my payment system from thirds to fourths because your move is far ahead, after your deposit to Uship your will have $4600/4 = $1150. I normally charge 1/3 at bid acceptance, 1/3 at loading, rest on delivery. Because by the time I deliver I would have paid for the truck, fuel & loading lets have 2nd and 3rd payment at loading & the 4th on delivery. The 24ft trucks don’t have towing attachment but the box is 8’x8’x24’= 1536. The 26ft do but the interior is only 7’x7’x26= 1274 cubic feet. I would need to call Penske to confirm that your car is not too heavy or wide for their trailers. I would charge $1,200 to bring you the car if it is allowed since it will add to my weight to pull, add a day to my trip and I have to rent the trailer. If you have a small car you should get a lower bid from a multiple car carrier. You should advertise it by itself. You could leave the decision on the car for later since I only need about 2-3 weeks notice. Let me know what you think
Thanks for the quick response. Given some of your feedback, I'm a little concerned about your capacity to disassemble, wrap, load and secure for the trip. What have you learned about making better provision for this and what steps will you take to ensure that you have adequate help at both ends of the journey? This is important to me because I will not have people to help you (my husband to be is in FL) and I have shoulder issues so I myself will not be lifting. Also, are you willing to extend your bid until at least 7/7 when my listing is set to expire?
WOW! I would appreciate if you read whichever bid you are referring too in full including the conversations leading up to the bid. I have gone far & lost $$ taking care of my customers because I love this work. As you have proven people look for negatives & when happy procrastinate & forget to give positive feedback.
I live in WA where I have very good help trained my way. I was carpenter by trade & I take furniture apart except for antiques. I am hands on but leave the havy lifting to the men. I am also a graduate from the U. of WA. I also have help in Florida eager to drive far because I pay well.

Yes. I have encountered some lousy customers and by temperament I have let it go until you bring it up.
Penske has offered me half what I used to pay Budget for the trailers so I could move a car for $800 jsut rember that the 26ft truck has less capacity.

Will this be a Seattle to Orlando pick up and delivery, or will other deliveries be on the truck?
It would be youir load on 20' of semi trailer and they put pallets on back 8' to offset fuel...Your dedicated to the front though and we take care of you...Mark
