Additional Information: Not much furniture being transported except dining table w/4 chairs, and 4 piece bedroom set, large Samsung washer and dryer with pedestal drawers, 36" TV with stand, several curio cabinets, three lawyers bookcases and about seven live plants, three of which are quite large (ficus tree, boston fern and begonia). Pretty much everything else will be in boxes; the numbers above might be overstated--not everything is packed yet. Some items are packed and in a second pick-up location--10x10 3rd floor Public Storage room (elevator available), which is two-thirds full. Most of the artwork is packed in boxes. I also need my car (4 door sedan) transported as part of this bid. Preferably on a trailer of some sort. Report a Violation

Question:

If I understand correctly, you have 2 p/u stops, and the items listed above, includes both locations. Correct?Report a Violation
Response: That is correct, there are two pick up locations and the listing above includes the sum total of the estimated items to be transported. Thanks for asking.6/11/2009Report a Violation
Question:

Depending on prices at that time about $6000Report a Violation
Response: Thank you for the estimate. When will you be submitting a bid? I know the move is a ways off--I wanted to get some idea of how much it will cost.6/16/2009Report a Violation
Response: : Closer to the move date so I can give a exact price.6/16/2009Report a Violation
Response: Hello; it is closer to my move date. Would you be interested in bidding?8/13/2009Report a Violation
Response: : What is the yr., make, and model of the car? Also, live plants need special permits and may be quarantined. We may be able to work around that. 8/14/2009Report a Violation
Response: 2006 Infiniti M45. I'd prefer to take my plants to Florida with me but if I have to give them away locally, I will.8/14/2009Report a Violation
Response: : Are the storage items, in addition to the inventory list?8/14/2009Report a Violation
Response: The storage items are included in the inventory list.8/14/2009Report a Violation
Response: : I can provide a 26' truck, and a car carrier. I would wrap furniture, load/unload, set up beds etc., and provide insurance, for $7569.52. This includes all expenses and tolls, and the fee I pay uShip. I calculated this on today's cost. thank you, Tom 8/14/2009Not in Violation
Response: Thanks for your bid. It is quite a bit more than I was hoping to have to pay; I'll see what other bids I receive before making a decision.8/17/2009Not in Violation
Response: : Thank you for giving me the opportunity. As a legal mover authorized to move across state lines, my costs are considerably higher than those of others who are not licensed, and offer no insurance. I would also be taking only your shipment, so you wouldn't have to worry about delays or missing items, that can and does happen with multiple loads. Whatever you decide, good luck with your move.8/17/2009Report a Violation
Question:
6/12/2009
I can give you a bid for a 8x8x24ft or a 7x7x26ft box. I pack tight so you may fit all inside. Best to use smaller boxes and half full plastic bags for clothings to fill gaps. I go by total volume. If we can do one truck only then $5,000 with loading and a pet included. The questions is how much fuel will be then. Report a Violation
Response: Thank you for your response. When will you be submitting a bid? I know the move is a ways off--I wanted to get some idea of how much it will cost. When you refer to the dimensions of the "box" above, are you referring to the cargo portion of a truck? Are the fuel costs in addition to the $5000 estimate or are they already included? Will you require a deposit and if so, how much and when? Do you transport cars? Ven6/16/2009Report a Violation
Response: : I am going to place a bid so you will see the terms, if you accept I will be able to hold the price since it will give me time to find other bids on the other direction. I will make it to pay on 4 parts excluded the deposit you pay to Uship. I move cars for the families I move. It is cheaper to use a multiple car hauler and some vehicles are found too heavy or wide for the rental companies trailers. The 8'x8'x24' is the inside dimension of the box, it is the comercail version has more attachments inside & liftgate. The bigest one privates rent has a 26ft box but the inside dimension is 7'x7'x26'= 1274 cubic ft instead 1536 for the 24ft comercial but they have towing which the comercail do not. 6/16/2009Not in Violation

Question:
8/24/2009
I just noticed the live plants "seven live plants, three of which are quite large (ficus tree, boston fern and begonia)." In addition to the likelihood of the plants dying in transit, I don't think it would be possible. I suggest that you check with sending them by plane on a cargo that has the temperature controlled. Out of Boeing field there may be good opportunities for shipping at a better price. Report a Violation
