Searchlight on Tandem Trailer
Shipment Details: WWII Searchlight located right outside of LA. The light and generator mounted on a tandem axle trailer with good tires. I am told it does pull really well. I'm not sure of the condition of the trailer lights but I do know they are there and did work at one time.
Packaging: This unit is best delivered by a GM 2500 truck or Ford 250. It has a ball hitch on front so shouldn't be a problem to hitch and pull to delivery destination. My main concern is the light is delivered damage free. The light was not a great expense yet is difficult to replace since they have not been made since the WWII. I am easy to work with and my delivery location is just 15 minutes south of the Atlanta Airport. Easy to get to right off I-85. Looking for safe, least expensive delivery.

Dimensions(s):13'3" long x 5'4" wide x approximately 10' high at light top. The rest of the unit is a good bit shorter.

Additional Information: Again, I am flexible on time and just looking for the safest, least expensive option to get this light to Georgia. Response: I am told the length is accurate. I understand the importance especially if other items are on your transport trailer. I had the seller measure from rear of light trailer to tongue. Question: any chance this can be lifted onto my trailer for trip to Ga? I am located on North side of Atl. in Jefferson and will be dropping a boat off in LA on the 15th. will be comming back to Atl with a trailer that this could sit on to save wear on your equipment. $1600 door to door. I can bring my ramps if needed also.we are a fully lic. and insured DOT/MC carrier, I deliver everything we book to insure our customers satisfaction. Response: I have no way to lift onto a trailer. I guess it could be hooked to a truck and backed up on a trailer if the truck has enough power and the ramps will support the weight. I am open to suggestions. Just looking for the safest way to transport. Thanks, Andrew (4/5/2008)

Response: Yes, You can still purchase the carbon rods new. There are several manufacturers of the rods here in the states plus so many people still have huge stock piles of them which they sell from time to time on ebay. Thanks for the interest. (4/5/2008)
