Questions for this shipment:
Question:
Hello shipper. Have you purchased the boat yet? What is your time frame? What are your plans for loading onto transport trailer? FYI, Your MAX PRICE, $1200., is about $1000. too low. This is a "WIDE LOAD" requiring permits in each state, and travelling over 1000 miles. (7/31/2009)
Response:
Hello! I will finish the deal this weekend ,hopefully Monday ,Tuesday latest. When can you bring boat here? How about 1800 CASH ? (7/31/2009)
Response:
Hello to you...I have a boat on my trailer now that I have to deliver to Fl. on friday, 8/7. Could load the following week, but not for $1800. I will do some figuring, and let you know. (7/31/2009)
Question:
Is this boat going to the port? (7/31/2009)
Response:
Nop, to my house or Marina. (7/31/2009)
Response:
Thanks, I have placed a bid for 2000.00 as you have requested. Please take note that I do have the required DOT and MC numbers and the required 1 million dollars in liability insurance to legally transport your boat across state lines. The lower bidders don't always include this. I am returning to NJ from Flordia with an empty trailer so I can offer this price. If you accept my bid you will get my cell phone number and we can get this done. Thanks, chuck at cpmarineservices. (7/31/2009)
Response:
Hello again! I need time frame! (8/1/2009)
Response:
Time frame is in my bid, I can pick up August 17th and have the boat to you within 2 days. (8/1/2009)
Question:
How will boat be loaded? (7/31/2009)
Response:
On the Boat Lift now,no trailer!? (7/31/2009)
Response:
Boat is on a lift now? Is it at a marina, or at a residence? If at a residence, how will it be loaded onto a trailer? If at a marina, do they have loading facilities? (7/31/2009)
Question:
Need mmore complete info on boat. All 30' SeaRays show wider beam, and most show much heavier. What is the year, and model of the SeaRay? (7/31/2009)
Response:
Sea Ray Sundancer 1996. (7/31/2009)
Response:
Thank you. Beam is 10'6". Weight is 10,200 lbs. This won't really make a difference as far as permits go. 8'6" to 12' require the same permit. The only difference is signs, and flags. (7/31/2009)
Response:
When you pick it up? How much? (7/31/2009)
Question:
Were with the comment above, are you sure on the beam??? We have transported many Searay boats and it seems pretty narrow... Please provide a year and model... Thank you, Bryan w/Phifer Industries. *Note: Your max is not enough, $1,800 isnt enough, We could do it for $2,240. let us know, please check out our profile (7/31/2009)
Response:
Sea Ray Sundancer 1996. How about 2000? (7/31/2009)
Response:
Thanks for the year information; a 1996 Searay 30 Sundancer has a beam of 10'-6" and a weight of 10,200 from the factory, so I would guess that yours probably weighs 11-11.5k with typical options, etc. Now, the price; We gave you a competitive price of $2,240, and you come back with $2,000, thats almost 10% difference. Wish we could bargin with you, but... it costs money to operate a 'legal' transport company, we are all here to make money, as i'm sure you work to make money as well (hence the 30' SeaRay). If you can call Ford credit and get them to knock off $200 off my payment this month, then we have a deal, if not then our price will remain $2,240. If you can get it transported for less, then feel free to get it done. I understand money is tight right now and that is the reason for the most part all of these prices (From legal transporters) are a competitive price because we are all trying to keep busy and still make a marginal profit. (7/31/2009)
Question:
You say the boat is at a residence, on a lift. How will it be put on a trailer? (8/1/2009)
Response:
Have no idea my friend! (8/1/2009)
Response:
That makes loading a question, and hard to make plans, let alone bid. I don't want to bid, and have to cancell because boat is inaccessable. Need to get this problem resolved. Is seller available to move boat to a marina? Can a transporter get to the boat? Are keys available? Does boat run, or will it have to be towed? Still too many questions. (8/1/2009)
Question:
If it is in fact on a lift, is there a ramp nearby where I could haul it from the water? I can load it at a ramp myself if one is near the boat. (8/1/2009)
Response:
Proably ramp,i'll find out! (8/1/2009)
Question:
Have a look at our profile, $1500 will get this done on a 21,000lb triple axle aluminum boat trailer, get back to me with any questions (8/1/2009)
Response:
When can U pick it up? Insurance, permits? (8/1/2009)
Response:
Collect next week late, permits in place insurance on value cost is 50 cents per $100 insured (8/1/2009)
Response:
Hello, what is your best price? Thanx. (8/2/2009)
Response:
You have it already, you asked one person $2000 and another $1800 I dont see the problem, all we need is the go ahead. (8/2/2009)
Response:
So 1500 then and go ahead? Do you wanna place thr=e bid or else? (8/2/2009)
