Question: Hello shipper! Its nice to see a listing here from FL back to the Great Lakes region...not many in the winter time! We are based in Minneapolis, and would be happy to bring your boat back on one of our February/March (pre-season) trips for $3200, including winterizing. If you prefer to wait until your desired May dates, we would be at $4000, both bids are all inclusive - i.e. include overdimensional permits, tolls, etc... Marina lifts on/off your responsibility. Let us know what you prefer - we'll bid appropriately. MREBoatTransport Minneapolis Minnesota (1/21/2009)

Response: Thanks for your bid. I am moving back to Wisconsin in May and would like to use the boat until then. I am flexible on the dates in May though. Do you also shrink wrap the boat? How many days from Stuart, FL to Sturgeon Bay, WI?
Thanks,
Tom (1/26/2009)

Response: Sounds good. Sorry, we don't do mobile shrink wrap - you'd have to contract with a local outfit to prep the boat. However, if you aren't moving until May, I'd save the money and simply run the boat open as roads are generally salt/sand free by then. It takes three days from FL to your destination...I'll bid and would appreciate your bid acceptance so we can book this well in advance, saving you $$$ in the process over mid-season (May) rates. MREBoatTransport Minneapolis MN (1/26/2009)

Response: OK thanks for that information. I will be making a decision on the move shortly. This is a job relocation so things on my end are going at the pace of the prospective employer. I am flexible after May as the boat can come up anytime during the summer if that helps your pricing. Thanks Tom (1/31/2009)

Response: May is peak season for boat moves. Most calendars are booked through Memorial day by mid-March at the latest. We would accept $3200 today for delivery in May (peak) timeframe. Alternately, I would haul the boat mid-Feb for $2800. (1/31/2009)

Response: Thanks. I am awaiting the final proposal on my job offer and transfer to Wisconsin. Everything is going slow these days. I will let you know ASAP.
Tom (2/15/2009)

Response: I really need to ship the boat in mid-May. Let me consider a later date and see if that works? Thanks for bidding this. Tom (4/30/2009)

Response: I am moving back to Wisconsin in May and am flexible on the dates, but would like to use the boat until I leave. How many days from Stuart, FL to Sturgeon Bay, WI? Also is your price inclusive of permits, tolls and shrink wrap? Thanks, Tom (1/26/2009)

Response: Hi Tom,....yes, permits and everything is included, we don't wrap on the road only at our shop. Timing is good, we can take your boat somewhere to get it wrapped if your marina doesn't do it and if you like. Delivery would be 2 to 3 days form FL to WI (1/26/2009)

Response: I will check with my Sea Ray dealer to bid out a price as well as a couple other marinas for shrink wrap bow to stern. Do you need a crane lift or fork lift to lead the boat? (1/31/2009)

Response: Yes looking to ship my Sea Ray in May. I am waiting for my job transfer final paperwork to be signed, then I can commit to the date and move. What insurance options are available for me while I am shipping the boat? Thanks for your patience. Tom (3/2/2009)

Response: no problem, we are fully insured but in May we will be booked if you wait till then or a bit longer for it is peak season. We book in advance for the season. June, July and August are booked now. We only have 2 weeks left in May so far but should fill up shortly for all our trucks. We will have to pull the bid soon. Thanks TCJ (3/2/2009)

Question: Hello shipper - we are headed from IL to FL next week and are looking at return options. Any chance of sending the boat north earlier, if we include winterization? (1/31/2009)

Response: Thank you for the offer. I am awaiting a final decision on a corporate relocation to Wisconsin. Also we plan to use the boat until May regardless as we will not move until the weather is better. I have flexibility in May though if that helps you with pricing. Thanks, Tom (1/31/2009)

Question: Hi, do you still need a carrier for this? (4/15/2009)

Response: Yes. I have been waiting on my company to confirm my transfer to Wisconsin and the exact date we would move. We are confirmed to move May 10th. My boat will now be at the SeaRay Dealer in Stuart, FL for some warranty work and can ship in early May (dates flexible). (4/15/2009)

Response: Hi, thanks for responding! If you can be flexible, then I can submit my bid. There are too many varibles in this bussiness that alter my schedule to commit to an exact date! Thanks, Rich (4/15/2009)

Response: YES...this shipment is flexible. We are finally ready to contract the shipment of our boat. It has taken some time to get my relocation worked out on my end. The dates listed are ideal, but we are flexible. I have some warranty work going on right now at Marine Max, but the boat should be ready anytime after May 7 for pickup. What type of truck/trailer are you using? (4/27/2009)

Response: Hi, I would be using a Medium duty tractoer and a drop deck boat transport trailer, it is designed just for boats and allows me to get the boat low enough to not have to remove the arch. I would be avaiable to pick her up after the 11th of May! I had a bid of $4000.00. This included everything including insurance! I would have to Increase my bid to $4350.00 due to an Increase in Fuel, permits. The bid is in, let me know if there is anything else I can do! Thanks, Rich (4/27/2009)

Question: Greetings, I can definetly handle this for you. Please see my profile, I don't have any cancellations. I haul legally, professionally and she'll be insured for up to 100,000 while on my trailer. Your insurance is off the second she is hooked up to a pro. Thanks, Travis of Insured Boat Hauling (4/27/2009)

Response: Thanks. I will get back to you shortly.
Tom (4/27/2009)

Response: I am getting a firm date from the Sea Ray dealer on completion of the warranty work underway. Will make a decision in next few days. Thanks for bidding this! Tom (4/30/2009)
