I'm very flexible on getting the boat out here (if it checks out)as to help someone find a return trip. Too be honest I'm hoping to get it out here for $2000 cash. Response: It's on freshwaterboats.com. It's the 24' Sea Ray Sundancer for $4950. I think it's on page 10 of power boats. (Have to scroll through the pages until you hit the 24'ers.) It's white and blue. There's a picture gallery with pix of the trailer and one of a tire. I'm not too sure about the tires/trailer so I'd get it checked out (tires/bearings/brakes etc.) before making such a journey. Mike (10/16/2009)

Question: Shipper, I see you have some time before making a decision on who to transport. Uship has good info on her if you go to bottom of this page to catogories and click on boat transporter. Then scroll down to choosing a boat carrier, this will help making a informed choice. I am sure price is important, but also being legal and have the proper ins. (BOAT INS) is a specific item and general cargo ins does not cover boats. Must have boats on Ins Accord. If we can be of service let us know. Thanks (10/19/2009)

Response: Hi. Thank you for that great info. This all new to me but have a buddy who shipped his boat from Maryland to Port Angeles and is helping me out. As it stands now I've got a marine survey completed today (all OK) and have ordered a mechanical one for the motor and leg. If that's good then I'm getting the trailer checked out and bearings repacked etc. for such a long journey. Apparently the trailer is in really good shape. (according to the marine surveyor) And yes I can be flexible on getting her out here. I'd like to get a good deal if a shipper can get a good return trip home. I would like to pay cash as I'm a carpenter and just finished a "cash job". If the shipping business works the same way, I'd like to get a good deal for that too. Response: Thanks for the response Mike. All shipments on here or either cash, or cashier check. I understand what you are saying. I know we cannot do it for what you are looking for. Just do your homework. Just make sure you ask for specific boat ins. That cost us about $2300 per year per truck for $100,000, do not get confused with liability ins. Two seperate things as some just say we have 150,000 ins not stating which it is. Follow Uship instructions and you will do fine. Good luck with your shipment. (10/19/2009)

Response: Hi Steve. I didn't hear anything back from the boat shop today so I'm going to assume they haven't even looked at it yet. Chris did say they had a ton of boats in their yard to winterize. I do like your price, I can pay cash, and I don't have to have the boat out here immediately. Chris said he'd even store it there until it has to be shipped. Maybe that could work for you to set up another trip out here. Chris said he'd like to do business with you so he said he'd check out all your credentials/insurance for me and himself. I hope you don't take offense to that but all my friends say pick a carrier with the right insurance and lots of positive feedback. But I also know it's hard to get a business started as I've just started my own construction company so I'd like to use you if everything pans out and I could write you a great review!
