Response: Hi - these are 6 loose metal cabinets 36" x 36" x 36" @ about 150 pounds each and one box about 48" x 48" x 48" @ 100 lbs. All this material is going to be recycled so not to worry about damage to the material - just want to transport it and make sure it is all there. (7/17/2008)

Response: Great questions! The driver will be responsible for loading on the pick up - the site does not have a loading dock. At the drop off there is a dock and someone there to unload. The items are not pallatized. (7/17/2008)

Response: The items are not pallatized. There are 6 metal cabinets 36" x 36" x 36" @ 150 lbs each & 1 box 48" x 48" x 48" @ 100 lbs. The material is going to be recycled so we do not care about denting the items. The pick up site does not have a loading dock and the driver will be responsible for loading. There is a dock at the drop off point and someone to unload. (7/17/2008)

Response: Hi - I'm sorry but the site does not have a pallet or shrink wrap. this is the difficulty I run into - it is hard to find transporters who will accept the shipments as they are. (7/17/2008)

Question: Dennis, You have another shipment from Prattville. Can both shipments fit on a 38Ft. trailer thats 83 in. wide ? I live about 1.5 hrs. from Prattville and could pick those up on the way down to Mobile. Let me know. (7/17/2008)

Response: Hi Dave - I was just going to alert you to the Prattville shipment. I believe they will all fit. The one thing I want to point out is that the boxes in Prattville do not have lids on them or a way to close them. You would have to shrink wrap them. Will you be attempting to load these yourself? Response: You have it listed as 11 boxes with no special packaging. Whats in the boxes? Can it go on a open flat bed trailer? Will it hurt it to get wet? Can it be tarped? (7/17/2008)

Response: Dave, Are you speaking of the Prattville shipment? I must have listed without finishing the listing. Sorry, that should read 11 server racks 96" x 24" x24 @ 300 lbs ea. There are also 3 skids worth of boxes of equipment that do not have lids on them - they would need to be shrink wrapped. Yes they can go on a flat bed trailer after and be secured. We would prefer it not get wet so it can be tarped. I deleted the Prattville listing because it was incomplete. I will relist it tomorrow. Denise (7/17/2008)

Response: Sorry Dave, They do not have pallets for the boxes and they do not have the capacity to load them. The site is a business site that does not have tools or supplies to ship properly. That is what makes this so difficult. At the drop off site there is a dock and someone to unload. Denise (7/18/2008)
