Response: the device is on wheels and rolls, the originating location is the Wrigley Chewing gum company and i am told they will move the device to the platform, at the reciving end there is a dock and the device can be rolled to the dock, i can probably be available at the receiving end in Denver area
i had a bid of $275 but we could not co ordinate pick up times. whomever picks this up must be sure that it is securely fastened to side of truck as it is on wheels (10/18/2009)

Response: What kind of vehicle are you driving?
I suppose it could go on its side or be laid flat but it has a electronic control module that sticks out from the side that could be easily broken off, it would take two people to lay it down, parts are not available to fix this thing so I would say it would have to be tied down and bundled with blankets and nothing laid any where near it, the best way to transport it is standing up and tied to the wall. I have been looking for one for over a year and would hate to have it broken

Response: Hi,its a cube truck.14'long.Door opened is 69" H. Inside past door closed, 76".May be some wiggle room beyond 76" Its a GMC. I drive with an extra man along.Iam about an hour north of you,so can p/u anytime before leaving. alvango (10/20/2009)
Response: i think it will fit okay, i saw previous comments which were all good, i am worried about breaking the control arm but if it is protected,tied down somehow should be okay. the wrigley co. has this item in a storage facility and they have said that wednesday the 28th is the only day it can be picked, i must re-confirm with them but can you pick it up that day for sure, they are somewhat difficult about this for some reason. also are you near sturtevant wisconsin? there is a marble topped table at rjjansen company there i would like but i have not purchased it because shipping might make it too expensive, i belive it is 3x5 feet, work counter height. it is steel framing with an inset marble top used for candymaking, there are a couple other tables too but i am really interested in marble one. these arent important but if you were coming anyway and had room to take them ??

Response: Hi, yes am about 20 mins. Response: yes i understand, these tables are secondary to my kettle but if you are that close i will see if they can be picked up but i really want to know if you can definitely, for sure, get that kettle from the Wrigley company on their timetable which is supposed to be wednesday 10-28-09. i need to tell them what day i can have it picked up, they have asked for that day but may be flexible, once i know that you can get that kettle then we can discuss pricing for other items if they are still available, i am fair minded, i know it is extra work/time.
