Response: Give or take a few lbs, yes. It's seven pallets of potato chips. I ship between 7-14 boards of PChips every two weeks to my Tacoma dock. Weight varies but I always try and make it a minimum of seven boards, or a max of fourteen as I was told 14 boards is what cubes out a pup trailer. (4/26/2008)

Response: As I am not in the trucking business so I cannot say if a tarp would protect pallets of cardboard or not. I do know if the boxes showed up at my Tacoma dock wet or damp or showing signs of, then the product would be refused. In any case, for me to consider a tarped load, the cost would have to be considerable lower than the cost of an enclosed van. Thanks for the question (4/29/2008)
