Questions for this shipment:

Question: are you sure on width 10' ? (10/11/2009)
Response: Length 32’1" Beam 9’8" Weight 5,150 lbs. (10/12/2009)
Response: if you set it on a trailer i'll deliv for 3400. i'll pick up trailer then boat ????? (10/24/2009)
Response: I'm not quite clear on your offer. Are you asking me to set it on your trailer, or are you suggesting I buy a trailer for you to pick up then deliver the boat on? (10/25/2009)
Response: you buy or rent a trailer and i'll deliv to you ? (10/25/2009)
Response: I'd consider buying a used trailer for this if I can find one. Where are you located? (10/27/2009)
Response: i work out of orange,tx & deliv all over the US... check ebay auction for a trailer, if you find one along the route from me to your boat i can pick up trailer then go get boat. thanks (10/27/2009)
Response: Ok. (10/29/2009)
Response: have you found a trailer ? (11/7/2009)
Response: No, no luck on that. Not exactly an easy thing to do, with me 3,000 miles away from the boat location. (11/7/2009)
Question: Hi, what is your time frame for this move? There are not many boats coming back from the west, especially this time of the year, and It takes a few weeks notice to put a return trip together. Also, as you know, the weather is turning! So, if you are able, let me know your dates for shipping, and how flexible you can be? Thank You! (10/12/2009)
Response: I'm flexible. Let me know what you can work out. BTW the width is 9' 8", not 10'. Weight is 5150 not 6,000. Thanks. (10/12/2009)
Response: Hi, I would like to move her, but, it is just not worth the risk to head that way after November 1st! We did it last year, and we had so may delays, it would have been cheaper to stay home! It may be better for you to store her here for the winter, and ship her in the spring! (10/12/2009)
Response: I'll consider storing, but looking for an earlier move if economical enough. (10/19/2009)
Question: PLEASE GIVE ME YHE MAKE AND MODEL OF YOUR BOAT???IT DOESNT LOOK 10 WIDE TO ME ???I HAVE A TRAILER HOW SOON CAN IT GO???WOULD LIKE TO BEAT THE HEAVY SNOW!!! (10/12/2009)
Response: Length 32’1" Beam 9’8" Weight 5,150 lbs. I need about 2 to 3 weeks to set it up for pick up once I choose a shipper. (10/12/2009)
Response: Is the sailboat going to ready anytime soon??trying to beat the snow??let me know (10/19/2009)
Response: Yes, I'd like to beat the snow. (10/19/2009)
Response: can it be moved in the next week I have my trailer aval.let me know thanks (10/19/2009)
Response: I need about a week to get it ready after I select a bid. (10/19/2009)
Response: I only see on bid and mine will be less ?? close to your asking price??let me know (10/19/2009)
Response: My target price is lower than what I put in for a max. Hopefully you have a back haul to make it worth while for you. (10/19/2009)
Response: A sailboat back haul that close to winter is hard from that area? but i can find a small boat hopefully out of the nort somewere?? thanks (10/20/2009)
Response: Let me know if you work it out. (10/24/2009)
Response: I can be ready to go around nov 3rd?/I have a trailer and I live in Tampa Fl ?/so let me know my bid is 5500??? (10/24/2009)
Response: Closer to my target. Go ahead and place a formal bid please. Timing should be Ok, but I'm still over my target. (10/24/2009)
Question: It is a 3000+ mile trip,I may be able to add somethuing with it to adjust a little but not much...if you want to reconsider after getting some more prices I will rebid..thanks tduncan55 (10/22/2009)
Response: Ok. Thanks. (10/24/2009)
Question: how about [content removed - To avoid confusion on the part of the customer, TSP’s may not mention “uShip fees/commission”, or similar language in their Q&A and bids must be all inclusive. -uShip] (10/23/2009)
Response: Thanks but I don't have the budget for that. It'll have to stay there if I can't reach my target. (10/24/2009)
Response: thanks i understand not a problem good luck hopefuly you find a service provider that needs a back haul and can take it for your price thanks mike (10/24/2009)
Response: Thanks. (10/24/2009)
Question: Is it ready ???next 2 weeks??let me know (10/23/2009)
Response: I need one to two weeks to get it to a ship point, out of the water, and ready to load, after I select a bid. (10/24/2009)
Question: is the boat on a trailer? what's your target price? (10/23/2009)
Response: You need to supply the trailer. The picture shows the configuration of this model on a Triad Trailer. Target price is $5k. (10/24/2009)
Response: thanks for the response, don't have a trailer. good luck, john. (10/24/2009)
Response: Ok (10/24/2009)
Question: What is the draft on the boat, ie the distance between the waterline and the bottom of the keel? Trying to determine how tall my supports need to be. (10/27/2009)
Response: 5' 6" (10/27/2009)
Response: Got it. I can handle this. When do you want it shipped? (10/27/2009)
Response: I just need a week or two, after I choose a shipper, to get it out of the water at a suitable boat yard in the Tampa area. (10/27/2009)
Response: Ok. Now it would be hard for any transporter to meet your max of $5000. It will take a week to tranport (and then I have to come back home, 3 more days), at least 1k in fuel. That doesn't include meals, hotel and etc. Your lowest bidder had no references and bid $6400. If I can get close to that and I have over 20 references are you interested? If so we can book it and schedule the pickup in 2 weeks or so to give you time to take the boat out of the water. (10/27/2009)
Response: I'm interested, but I have a budget to meet. This is only a $10k boat, so difficult to find a way to move that far for a price that I can do. (10/29/2009)
Response: Tell you what. I'll rebid @ $5000 for you to accept and book, but you would need to give me a little time to try and book a backhaul If its going to take you about 2 weeks to get her out of the water as you indicate, that would be sufficient enough time for me to find a backhaul. Let's do it. (10/29/2009)
Response: I'm in no rush on this. More time is better for me, but, you might find snow on your way as it gets later in the season. If you can deal with that, we could be good to go. (10/29/2009)
Question: Are you requesting a rebid to accept it? (10/28/2009)
Response: I'm not clear if that was a real bid. It was up for just a short time, and your earlier comment indicated you were dropping out of the bidding in the $6k range. If you are in, please rebid, but give me a reasonable time to respond. Thanks. (10/29/2009)
Response: I understand.Transporters estimate the cost of the transport. They don't necessarily try to ascertain the value of the goods being moved, but I certainly understand what you are saying. What makes your transport so difficult is the transporter can only backhaul another sailboat which may be difficult to find, therefore he may bid expecting to deadhead back with an empty trailer. The total is a 7-8 day round trip. If I can come in around $5400 can you handle that? If by chance I can get a backhaul then I may be able to give you a $200-300 break. (10/29/2009)
Response: Take the time you need to find that backhaul. If my posting runs out, I'll repost. Budget is more important than timing right now. I don't need this here until next spring, but I expect to do it sooner rather than later. (10/29/2009)
Response: That would be fine, however I can't bis on a backhaul until you accept my bid and book the shipment. The reason for that is, if I bid and got the backhaul, without your commitment on the front end, I would be obligated to come out to Washington and pickup that load. So the backhaul comes after the front end load is confirmed. As for the weather, I will pickup the boat and head NW. If I encounter any bad weather there are places I can hold up. I'm in Texas, the weather is still great. I wouldn't anticipate anything until I got up near Colorado. But I know that area. I use to play for the Broncos a long time ago. (10/29/2009)
Response: Sounds good. I can leave the delivery date flexible. I'll be offline for the rest of today, so may have to ask for a rebid in a day or two. Thanks. (10/29/2009)
Response: What's the holdup? I rebid $5000 at your request because I thought you were ready to accept it. If you are not then, I can withdraw it and when you are ready to select a transporter then I may rebid but I can't guarantee a $5000 bid because things change. Your bids may actually start to go back up if you are not careful. Just food for thought. (10/29/2009)
Response: All is not in place to make this happen today, but should be soon. Thanks. (10/29/2009)
Question: Shipper, when would you like this done? We could pick up Mon for $6,000 please our profile and let us know soon if you can. Thanks Ron (10/29/2009)
Response: Sorry, It's over my target and I'm not ready to go by Monday anyway. (10/29/2009)
Response: Thank you for the response. (10/29/2009)
Question: When will it be ready to ship? I can do it for 5400 (10/29/2009)
Question: What is the status on this shipment? Is it ready to ship? (11/8/2009)
