Response: I can haul both items for you. The bid for both items would be $600. The only thing that I need to make sure of is the dimensions of the scooter/car. I have ramps and room inside my topper that is 78" long, 36" tall, and 48" wide. If you are interested, please let me know so that I can get the bids done and matched. Response: this is what the guy i bought it from says...It's about 50" wide, 80" long, and about 39" high. I have a 1998 Chevy
pickup truck with the 6' bed, and it fits with room to spare. There's
about 1" on either side, and more in the back, 'cause the luggage rack
is higher than the tailgate.
$600 sure is a lot of "extra gas money" i have a guy that said he can do it for $375.00 if and when he can book stuff for the trip to pick it up. can you do it for that? (6/24/2008)
Response: My figures are for diesel to go from Richmond to two different places to meet two different guys and load two seperate items. I will have to disconnect from the trailer to load this item in the truck. The sled can go on the trailer but will be blanketed and tarped for protection. When I get to you, I will have to repeat the whole process. Our time, like yours, is valuable. 600.00 is a cost covering bid. If you feel that it is too high, I understand.
