Response: Hi Phillip, Thanks for your bid. Your write-up and reviews look great. Here are a few “Full disclosures” that didn’t make it into the request for bid. The trailer takes a 2” ball. I purchased the boat/trailer in Canada a couple of months ago. Boat originally came from California. I’ve registered the boat in CA, paid the registration for the trailer, but registration will not be completed until it’s in CA. I have both current CAN and expired CA plates plus all CA DMV paper-work, bills of sale, etc. US Customs was impressed by how complete the paperwork was when I crossed the boarder. So, your choice about which plates you want to tow with. I will be in Boston later this week and through the 20th. I will be in SoCal from the 21st until New Years. I can meet you at both ends of the trip if the timing is right. Will you take any special scheduling precautions to avoid weather and do this in December? Any issues? Response: I can try to make your timeframe but I would like the driver to be at home for Christmas and deliver afterward. I can have the truck pickup this coming weekend (depending on road/weather conditions. If these timeframe completed it will not be a problem will it? Thanks Phillips 4 Transporting (12/10/2007)
