Response: Marshal, I apologize for the delay. We are not only moving our horse, we are moving our whole family. One of our cars was stolen, which threw a monkey wrench in the works. This cost us a lot of money and time, so I have been slow to manage my bid requests. Also, this is my first time using U-ship, so I'm still learning my way around the system. The first shipper who responded to my initial bid, just gave me a rebid that will work for me. Just like you, he has great references, so I think we will go with them, since they were first to respond. (8/14/2009)

Response: I'm still taking bids. I would like Roja to leave California sometime between August 20-31. I am flexible on arrival dates. Her board is paid through the end of the month. I think a straight stall will be fine. I may need to have her legs wrapped to give her extra support during shipping. Will you wrap her legs for an extra charge? She had a torn check ligament (which has healed) but I don't want to risk reinjury. Re: budget, I was hoping to keep shipping costs around $1000, so if she could be grouped with other horses, that would work. Her board isn't too much, so if you had a load going to or from the Walking Horse Celebration (which is about 30 miles from my farm, that might save me some money.
