Response: We do not place formal bids until the customer is ready to accept the price we offered. Reason being, we do not want alot of customers accepting at once to prevent time frames being missed up. There is no extra charges to our price, but if you change the zipcode and more miles and tolls are added, then we will have to be compensated fro the extra. We would be towing on its current trailer. Our insurance is with Lloyds of London for 150,000. We can fax this to you upon acceptance along with a Bill of Laden. We only accept COD, unless the individuals at pickup are paying for the shipping. Our timeframe is basically open, but we would ask for flexiability for weather conditions. Response: We would be towing on your trailer with tire and bearing checks every 300 miles. We also grease the bearings every 600 miles unless the bearing checks yield a warning for them to be greased more often. If something shall happen during transport(flat tire, lights out, bearings, bunks etc...) we perform all the fixes with no labor charges just the cost of the item needed to be replaced. (2/26/2009)

Response: my first choice would be a flatbed - less wear and tear. but I have only a few bidders who seem to know what they are doing - and you are one of them. I will decide shortly. You mention no personal checks - do you accept company checks. This is a company boat - paying by cash is going to be very difficult. (2/26/2009)

Response: Sorry about the delay in responding to you, had to change computers. The reason we do not accept checks is because we have recieved bogus checks before. Once the boat leaves the truck, we have no right to it anymore. If we did accept a business check, it would have to be made payable to the driver so they can go directly to the bank after drop off and cash it. The drivers perfer cash because it helps with fuel and tolls. A certified bank check withdrawn from the business account would also be acceptable. We just don't like going through the whole legal action thing again which is costly and time consumming. We understand where our customers come from with certain issues, so we try to reach a compromise. Paul (2/26/2009)
