Question: how soon would they be ready for transport? (2/6/2009)

Response: These guys will leave for Knoxville from Va on Sunday. Two will be neutered at the University and be ready to travel after that. ( the other two already done) They can be boarded at the hospital if we cannot get them shipped out soon enough. Thanks for asking.

Question: Hi,please see profile and feed backs A+ rating. I can help with your shipment. Do you have a target price in mind? Thanks, look forward to working with you. (2/11/2009)

Response: Hi Kevin, thank you for getting back to us. We have no idea what price should be. Please let us know what it would cost. The pigs are about eight months old and not too big. They are ready to go now at the Univ of Tenn. Please let us know the price and when you would be traveling that way.

Response: Hi,thanks for your response. The normal going rate is around $1.25-$1.50 per loaded mile. This is for just one animal then small charge per each other animal. Now with that said and out of the way, what about the charge around the $950. range to get them to you? After you read this book I just wrote please let me know what you think. Thanks, look forward to working with you. (2/12/2009)

Response: That sounds very reasonable. They have been rescued from a seizure by the sheriff in a very horrible situation and are not in top notch shape. They are going to a sanctuary where they will live out the rest of their lives in peace and safety. In the trailer, they will need deep straw to keep warm in. Questions? 1)How much space in the trailer would they have and 2)would you be able to feed and water them in route? 3)How long would the trip take and 4)when could you pick them up?

Response: Hi,thanks for your response. In answer to your questions,I will have bedding to keep them warm(very little air can reach them.) Feed and water will not be a problem. Trip will be about 1 day. I can pickup early next week. Please let me know and will place bid. Thanks, (2/12/2009)

Response: I will check with my husband tonight. He is driving down to Knoxville for the third time to pick up four pigs that are headed back up this way. Our place is in Afton, Virginia. We have put in a lot of miles having them vetted at Univ of Tenn where they only charge us their cost and then on to their new homes.
My husband had originally talked about driving them himself but then he would have to go back down to Knoxville again and then on to Texas and back. We have put so much into them that he is hard pressed to let anyone else take charge of them, if you know what I mean.
I work with a lot of pig rescues so if this works out, I may be able to send you some more business. (2/12/2009)

Response: Thanks, for your response. I look forward to talking with you soon. Just keep me informed. (2/12/2009)

Response: Yes!! We would like you to ship the pigs. I guess you submit the bid now? This is our first time,
