I was hoping to find someone with a dead head going east that could bring them back to California on their return / or someone willing to give me a discount on transporting multiple horses, but any reasonable offer will be considered. Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment: 

Question: just for the record..there is no such thing as a "dead head"....It costs us JUST AS MUCH to return empty as it does to deliver when full. I have placed a bid at a STEEPLY discounted rate of 50 cents per mile / per horse. (2/14/2009)
Response: It's a term my client uses, whose looking to transport these horses, and your point is precisely why some transport companies will reduce their rates a bit. A dead head going east would mean they have transport scheduled that direction and nothing coming back. I am looking to fill someones empty return trailer so that they can profit both directions. I'd assume a reduced rate would be better than none on an empty return. (2/14/2009)
Question: what I'd like to know is how someone is bidding on these horses so low.. ten horses and they only have 4-6 horse trailers... I'd like to see how that comes off!!! (2/21/2009)
Question: I would like to know more about the horses you have. Any Stallions? and mares and foals? do any of them need box stalls? We can haul up to 13 horses comfortably in our 65' air ride van.
