Question: leaving tomorrow from solomons can it go today? (3/3/2009)

Response: No not today, boat is currently on jacks to keep tires from sitting on ground and is covered for teh winter, need to get my father in-law out to tak off jacks, uncover and place all inside cabin. So no it can not be ready until the weekend at least. plus with 10 inchs of snow on the ground in Lexington Park I don't think he wants to be jacking teh boat up. Thanks anyway. (3/3/2009)

Question: Hi, I am a legal owner/operator with Motor Carrier and USDOT numbers and commercial liability and cargo ins. You're right about the snow, I'm 6 mi from the Park, I may be interested. What time frame are you looking for? I was looking to haul boat/trailer on my flatbed, but looking at maybe just towing, is the trailer tagged? Thanks (3/3/2009)

Response: Yes trailer is tagged. Spoke with my father in-law this morning and there is no way he can get the boat off the jack stands in the snow. The wheels are touching the ground with as little as weight as possibe so as not to develop flat spots. The trailer is tagged and ready to roll, just need the jacks stands out from under, cover removed and a few plastic boxes put inside the cabin prior to transport. With the snow on the ground maybe next week for him to get this accomplished. (3/3/2009)

Question: Can we remove the boat from the stands? We will be there this weekend and need a load back down south. (3/6/2009)

Response: The boat will need to be removed from the four jack stands and the winter cover removed. Boat is lifted only to take weight off the four tires. So only need to jack two three inches to remove jacks. If thisis not going to be a problem with teh cover nad stands when would you be at the pickup address? I will need to make arrangements with in-laws. (3/6/2009)
