Response: Hi Darin, Thanks for your response. I checked out your reviews, and I don't see a lot of boat transports. How comfortable are you with a larger boat like this? total length is 31 ft, and weight at appx 9500 lbs.! I have a bid similar to your's for appx the same price, but the other transporter only does boats, many large boats. Let me know. Dave10/26/2011

Response: : Hello Dave I have only been a uship member for a short time. Most of my larger boat towing has been with my own boats. My Donzi on the trailer and full my my wife's necessities and fuel is over 12,000lbs. I have a 40' toy hauler the tips the scales at over 16k. And my new 32' enclosed trailer has a GVW of 21,000lbs. I am going to Florida to see my daughter and taking a boat the same size as yours down there, I can pick up yours on the back. Although you dont know me, I am supremely confident in my ability to get your boat delivered. I want you business. I can only say, that I have been a employer for a long time and I would rather have the owner of the business delivering my boat then a employee. It your call. Darin 10/26/2011

That being said the pricing is still hard for me to swallow, and am considering buying a trailer and going and getting myself? Talk me out of it if you can and I will set it up with you! Response: : ok, round trip would be 4378 mi, figured 10 mpg would take 437.8 gal @ est $3.50 gal would be $1532.30 just in fuel. then figure hotels, food, and time from work for 7 to 10 days, not to mention cost of oversize permits (which are not fun to order) cost of flags, signs, etc. you are probably looking at $3000. to $3500 not to mention cost of trailer. would love to work with you and will agree to come down $100.00 just as good faith offer; we gave you the price we did only because we had another haul to go with yours. Response: : you drive a hard bargain. you are looking at round trip 4378 mi at (est) 10 mpg would be 437.8 gal times (est) $3.50 gal. you are looking at $1532.30 in fuel plus hotels, food and 7-10 days off work. also you would need to order oversize permits (which are not fun, can get complicated) also some states will not let you run at night with oversize load. you are looking at $3000 - $3500 without cost of trailer. need you to let us know asap if you do not choose to use us so we can work with other shipper's on their loads. the only reason we gave bid this low is because we have shipment to pick up in texas but as a good faith offer we can lower our bid by $100.00 or bid $3900. as always best regards. phillip and teresa. 10/26/2011
