Questions for this shipment:

Question: Are there any steps or stairs at the pick up location? I live in Arlington Hts. I could probably pick this up on 11/21 and del. this 11/23 in the evening. Would a night del. be ok? Is there still access to service elevator? PLease check my feedback and let me know about the dates and time. Thank you (11/2/2009)
Response: No, there are no stairs are steps at the pick-up location. They are located in the kitchen on the first floor of a house with a wide driveway in front. As for the drop off location, there is delivery allowed in the condo building between 9-5 Mon-Fri, so an evening delivery would not work. However, if you could make it before 5 p.m. on the 23rd, that would be ideal, and the freight elevator would be locked off for your use. Thank you. (11/2/2009)
Response: Ok, if you would be so kind to let me check on a couple things, I'd like to make sure that I can be there by 5pm on 11/23. I should be able to know in the next hour or so. Thanks again madpaddler4 (11/2/2009)
Response: The timing of the shipping is critical, so if you can definitely commit to picking up in Ann Arbor on Nov 21 and delivering in Chicago Nov 23 before 5:00 pm, I will accept your offer even though it is not the lowest. Also, if it would help you, we would have pallets left over from a delivery of new appliances of like sizes the previous week which we can keep for your use if you want us to. (11/3/2009)
Response: I understand that timing is everything, however on 11/23 I would not be able to guareentee that I can be there by 5pm, as I have a jod as a mover that I work at Mon. thru Fri. I am headed out of town for Atlanta on Thanksgiving and will return on 11/30, a day which I have already taken off, which is how I know I can make a 5pm del. on that day. Work can be slow the week of the 23rd, but I don't know. I would love to del. asap to you, but with no weekend or evening hours. The only day I can promise is 11/30, if I can do it sooner, I will, be it Mon, Tues, or Wed. if I get off early or even get the day off I would do it then. Hope this helps a bit. madpaddler4 (11/3/2009)
Question: I could pick it up on the 21st and I could del. between the available hours on Mon. 11/30. Would that be ok? madpaddler4 (11/2/2009)
Response: Yes, that's fine. But I've only just started taking bids, so unless you would be willing to accept my "book it now" price of $300, I wouldn't be able to commit to you for several days yet. (11/2/2009)
Response: what is the width of the doors at the delivery location do you think the fridge would roll thru the doors is there help at the pick up and the drop off or would i need to bring someone with me thanks for your time madpaddler4 (11/2/2009)
Response: My fiance (he's 6'3" tall) will definitely be at the pick-up site to help you. At the drop-off site, high chances my contractor (not as big as fiance) will be there working, so could help you, but not guaranteed. If it's a "deal breaker" I can wrangle a firm commitment out of him to be there, but you would have to give me a 2-hour window of time of arrival (which is probably what the building will demand anyways). The door entering the condo unit is regular width (36") so you will have no problem getting both the fridge and the range in upright (but sideways). (11/2/2009)
