Response: THANKS FOR REPLY...MAX 84 INCHES IN SHIPPING MODE...IS THAT AT THE MOWERS? MY FLATBED TRAILER IS 84 INCHES WIDE BETWEEN THE WHEEL HOUSINGS....BUT WIDER AFTER THAT. I SHIPPED ONE OF THESE BEFORE WHERE I PUT THE MAIN BODY/WHEELS OVER THE AXLES, AND PUT THE MOWERS TOWARDS THE DOVETAIL-- THEY WERE WIDER THAN THE WHEEL HOUSEINGS BY A SMIDGE. DO YOU THINK YOUR UNIT WOULD FIT ON MY CAR TRAILER? THANKS (10/28/2009)
Response: I called a dealer and they said the mower decks are the widest part when raised. They thought the wheels were not much more narrow though - only 2-4 inches. The rear axle is less then 5 foot wide. The guy I bought it from got it delivered on a standard car rollback with siderails, so I would think it must be narrower then 84 at the tires. The mower is ready to go, I just have to pay the guy. It runs and drives. If you can haul it and need it paid for NOW so you can get it ASAP, I can wire the funds in minutes. I have just been delaying paying for it until I get a hauler worked out. (10/28/2009)
