Question:
Hello, I will be going to Atlanta during your time frame and am interested in hauling your car and trailer. I have a 2005 Chevy HD pickup with a 10,000 lb towing capacity(Class 3 hitch). I can pick up your trailer on 3/26 or 3/27 and deliver it at the track on 3/38 and will pick it up on 4/1 and deliver it back in TX on 4/2. If this will work for you then I can do it insured for $1000.00 total. Please let me know ASAP so we can firm this up as I need a load to Atlanta and back during this time frame and will continue to look for another one until I hear from you. Thanks! Ernie (2/16/2007)
Response:
Ernie: If you can do this for the price/dates quoted, place a bid and the haul is yours. Thanks, Jeff (2/20/2007)
Question:
Oversteer, We are normally boat haulers, but looking to get into bikes and cars a bit. This would be a good resume job for us. What would it take to get an early commit from you to perform. DOT MCI and insured to 200,000 for cargo including cars. Mule Team Transport a subsidiary of T3YB Inc. (2/17/2007)
Response:
Would like to work with you. Please post a bid. (2/21/2007)
Question:
Hi I have shipped many race cars and show bikes and have over 25yrs experience. I can do this for you take and return trip included for a total bid of $2500. Check out my feedback let me know if I can help Thanks Brian the maxview (2/17/2007)
Response:
Please post a bid. (2/21/2007)
Question:
Dear road racer. I'm a USDOT legal transporter with 50K of insurance for cars and motorcycles. My insurance covers these vehicles when they are transported in my trailer. I think its the same deal with everyone else. I'd check into it if I was you. I use a 28ft Hallmark Edge we could load your race car, tires, tools etc. in it and I could bring you your race car on the dates you specified round trip for 1750.00. Check my feedback and equipment. Ron Adee, world champion and Rick Schopp his engine builder of One Lap of America for ref. I know how to handle these cars. (2/17/2007)
Response:
Would prefer that you hual my trailer as all the tools, speare parts, equipment, etc are already stored in it. I would rather not move everything to a new trailer. (2/21/2007)
Question:
Good morning, I am very interested in this load as I can do this within your timeframe and bring back to TX when you wish. My question is what would it take to get your business? I will try and adjust my bid for you Thanks Briant he maxview (2/21/2007)
Response:
Please refer to the question submitted by smonty46 in the posting. If you can meet his price, I will take the first one to submit the bid, and will commit to it today. (2/21/2007)
Question:
Sorry, I dont see smonty46's question anywhere. Also Taking your trailer is no problem, but I would need to leave mine somewhere safe. Do have such a place? (2/21/2007)
Response:
Here is the text from smonty46: Hello, I will be going to Atlanta during your time frame and am interested in hauling your car and trailer. Question:
I cant find the quote can you tell what it was. I am based near Pickup destination so it will not be a problem I am a former race car driver from Tx and I know how to handle this I just need a target price. Thanks much Brian (2/21/2007)

Question:
Thanks. Ok here is what I think. A class 3 hitch is good for 5000# class 4 for 10,000. Truck should be at least a 3/4 ton 2500 or F250. You are renting a truck and driver for 1 week the driver pays all his own expenses from his own pocket. If Monty46 can do it USDOT legal and fully insured for 1000.00 you better jump on it. FYI if transporter you choose is not then you risk losing your trailer, race car and everything inside the trailer. Insurance doesn't cover that type of loss. Ask for MC or DOT numbers and verify at http://li-public.fmcsa.dot.gov/LIVIEW/pkg_carrquery.prc_carrlist. Because I can do 2000 + worth of business during any given week I cant go less than 1750. Look at my profile get my USDOT number and check me out. Thanks (2/22/2007)
Response:
Performance: I have been out of town for a couple of days, but when I got back I saw that you cancelled your bid before I could accept it. Also, we have had a slight change in plans. I will not be runnning on Sunday, so you can start back to Texas on Saturday night. (2/24/2007)
Question:
Sorry about that, this is why I had to cancel. I checked with my insurance agent to make sure your car, trailer and contents would be covered under my 50K property loss policy. Comes to find out I would have no coverage for you unless it was all put inside my trailer, then its all covered. Coverage can be purchased thru Uship for 8.00 per thousand so 10K would be 80.00. My liability would still be in force in any case. Maybe you can find a transporter that hauls trailers then buy temp insurance for your car and other stuff. Let me know how you want to proceed. I would be happy to go racing with you. Thanks (2/24/2007)
Response:
I will provide insurance for the trip if you will haul my trailer. (2/26/2007)
Question:
Sir, you have a deal. Please accept my bid of 1750.00 round trip. Thanks (2/26/2007)
