Response: Sorry. We cannot prepay. We are a Chinese RV dealer switching from buying German RV to American RV. Our shipment for 2008 would be about 12 units. (6/15/2008)

Response: We would start with 1 per week. Probably 2 per week by mid-2009. Please give your best quote. If you are lower than our current shipper, then I would work with you assuming the service is similar. (6/15/2008)

Response: Jayco factory is Middlebury, Ind. Do you drive to Oakland, CA or use a trailer? I assume you are insured and bonded? These are brand new motorhome. (6/16/2008)

Response: Hi, Harold: I am shipping now at $7000 each. But shipping RORO to Japan is only $3700. Therefore I am trying to find if there is better rate out there that I am not aware of. What do you mean driven to the point? After it is localized, we drive to the dock to be loaded ono flat rack. It can also be driven to the ship using RORO. (6/23/2008)

Question: When you ship if you could give me a budget, I then can work with it. You must add the cost to drive or haul to CA, fuel cost a lot. Also someone's time and then you have to take in a person gets there they have to wait on a shipment coming back? It would be a lot better for me to ship out of Florida but I can do ca also. What about a lot storage place in CA or FL where I can bring with me about 3-5 drivers and take 3-6 units at a time, towing one on the back of each of the 3 to 5 and storeing them in a lot in ca and wait on orders to ship them? This way you are paying for 1 to be drive and 1 goes free to be tow on the back of the other? (6/23/2008)

Response: Bill do these RV's have to go out of CALIFORNIA? If not I might be able to get these shipped out of Florida which is closer to JAYCO than California. Question: Any consideration of bringing it to Port Hueneme? It's about 5 hours from Oakland, but the ocean freight would be almost half of what you currently pay for RORO. Let me know what you think. -Diana (9/30/2008)

Response: Port Hueneme is in the west coast of California, about 5 hours south from Oakland, CA. The RV's would go RORO to Tianjian. Based on the fact that you will be doing weekly shipments I was able to get a very good rate from the Steamship Line. We work directly with the carriers, no agents involve or co-loaders. Please let me know if you would consider bringing the RV's to Port Hueneme (zip code 93044). The rate is good until the middle of October. Thank you, -Diana (10/1/2008)

Response: Hi, Diana: Yes, we are interested in the RORO service now, especially if your rate is good and we may need to use RORO only for class A motorhome. We ship monthly 2 to 4 units. Right now, we can not sell trailers because shipping cost is too high. Why is RORO available in Hueneme not Oakland or Long Beach? There is no RORO direct to Dalian? thanks, Bill (10/1/2008)

Response: Hi Bill, Ok, so the information on this page is no longer correct? Is the weight and measurements correct for the class A motorhome? This is important since I get charged for the weight and CBM's of the RV. Which shipping cost is high for your trailers? From the manufacture to you in Oakland? or from Oakland to Dalian? There is RORO's in Oakland, but too costly. Long Beach is further away from Oakland than Port Hueneme and in Long Beach you will pay extra fees for Pier Pass and for CAAP. I'm still trying to find a carrier out of Oakland to Dalian, but it looks like all have been canceled. Not sure why, but Dalian is not accepting RORO's from certain carriers. Please advise the correct information to get you a precie quote. With the information you have provided we can move out of Port Hueneme to Tianjin for half the price you pay for RORO. Response: The page is correct. We ship monthly class C motorhome. Let use the lowest cost from California to Dalian. What about packing the RV on the flat rack? Do you do this? My preference is still Oakland but if we can save money it may be worth the 5 hour drive. (10/1/2008)

Response: Hi, Frank: shipping time and cost will be an issue. RV is received and inspected by our office at Oakland dock. Shipping out of Houston will require us to fly out to meet the shipment. So RO/RO Houston is unlikely. Bill (2/10/2009)
