Question: Thank you for the request. I can not provide a bid at this time. Thanks, Hiram (9/30/2007)
Question: Thank you very much for your bid request, I do appreciate your consideration of SEMO Motor Transport Service. Unfortunately, I can't accommodate your shipment. I primarily transport motor vehicles, machinery, construction equipment, and LTL general freight. Hang in there though, a reliable TSP will come along and make a reasonable offer. I do hope you'll take Tony's (Duratrans) advice and verify the credentials and insurance of any prospective transporter you may consider. Please keep in mind it may take a while. For these smaller shipments the TSP has to assemble numerous small shipments to make it worthwhile so sometimes it can be a lengthy process. Have you considered the big guys i.e. Fedex, UPS, DHL? From your listing description it may very well be small enough for them. Whatever you decide, I do sincerely wish you the best with your shipment. Thank you again // Don @ SEMO Motor Transport Service (9/30/2007)
Response: Thanks for taking the time to respond. I will definately take that advice. Fedex etc don't package items at ones home so there is where one problem lies. Thank you for your consideration. (9/30/2007)
Question: Thank you for your bid request, but my price would be $900. I will be leaving Sac CA next week 10/8. Good Luck. (10/2/2007)
Response: Thanks for replying but that is way out my budget. (10/3/2007)
Question: Thanks for the request, but I do not make it to CA much these days. sjtatman (10/3/2007)
Response: Thanks for replying. Trying to move this product is getting difficult. (10/3/2007)
Question: Thank you for the request but i am california arizona only. shortrun (10/3/2007)
Response: Thanks for replying I didn't notice. (10/3/2007)
Question: Hi there, Thanks for the request. Wow, seems like you've been hitting some walls. Coincidentally, I am going to your pickup area and then heading towards your destination. Several conciderations you need to know. 1st-I can't promise that I'll have room (as of right now...that load is completely packed (household move). 2nd-If I was able to fit it with this load-I don't have a way to "crate" it. By the pictures-although the bulbs would require protection, is the rest of the machine that "fragile"? or would regular protective measures and wrapping do (without seeing in person, it's hard for me to tell), so...if you feel that it indeed needs to be crated, that will have to be done prior to me arriving (if I could help). 3rd-If I could help, I wouldn't know until the other load is loaded (and I would be planning on driving out soon thereafter). The best I can think to do is just tell that I plan on being fully loaded up by the 26th and heading out early on the 27th. ---look at next- (10/3/2007)
Response: The unit itself is not fragile just the bulbs as you may know. I need the shipper to pack it though. The 26th/27th is just too long of a wait though. Thank you for replying though. (10/4/2007)
Question: ran out of characters...anyways, I'd be loaded the 26th and leaving out the 27th. If there was room, I'd gave to contact you and let you know so we could pick up immediately. You'd have to stay connected to uShip since that's our only mode of communication. Sorry to be so "confusing" but that's the scoop! Thanks so much, MarcosFigueroa (10/3/2007)
Question: Thanks for your request, Robert (Anneslimo) here. I do have some bids pending on boat hauls to CA but nothing confirmed at this time. My question would be; can this be shipped flat or does it require standing upright only? The dimensions look like it would fit horizontaly in my Excursion which is what I use for hauling a boat. I do not think crating would be required if loaded inside the back of this truck. Will there also be assistance on each end for loading? (10/4/2007)
Response: Yes it can be laid flat onto a truck. As far as assistance there will be none since the provider of the unit is hurt at this time. (10/4/2007)
Question: Thanks for the bid request. I am actually in San Fransisco right now and I will be in the Atlanta area within 2 to 3 weeks but I have my open trailer right now and my price would be $800 anyway which looks like it is probably out of your budget. Todd (10/4/2007)
Response: Yes 800 is out of my budget but thanks for replying Todd. (10/5/2007)
