Response: If I can find a box that will hold them I'd be glad to, but that could be a challenge. I'll look for such a box tomorrow. Tying them together with rope and shrink wrapping may be a better option. (2/6/2009)

Response: Thank you for your response. The only reason why I ask is that the cheapest price we could get for you is with a national carrier such as fedex or ups that requires items to be boxed or in a container of some sort. However, if you are not able to find such a box to fit the tripods into, if you are able to put all the items on a pallet and shrink wrap it all together would be only about $25 more with a national trucking company. Please let us know which option you would like to do and then we will place our bid. Hope to hear from you again. (2/6/2009)

Response: If you are going to do the pallet, the tripods do NOT have to be in a box, you can bubble wrap them together as you mentioned prior and then place the bundle on the pallet with the other containers/cases and then shrink wrap all the items together to secure them onto the pallet. If you elect the carrier service and if you pack each tripod individually, it will increase the price by approx. $100. Additionally, I imagine you would want full-value insurance to cover this expensive equipment. Insurance is offered at $1.00 per $100. So, if you say the equipment is valued at $15,000, then insurance will cost $150 in addition to the shipment charge. (2/6/2009)
