Question: I would prefer to pick the table up myself. Is there one person available to assist me in moving it? (3/31/2009)

Response: Someone could possibly be available to help you move it; however, what is your experience with moving pool tables. The table needs to be disassembled and then reassembled and leveled at the other side. (3/31/2009)

Response: I have my own table, myself, and I dont have a problem leveling it for you, either. Thanks for your response! bid placed. (3/31/2009)

Question: Please do not let someone "help" you move a 3 peice slate table just because they have one. If you do not disassemble, move, and reassemble a table properly......you will ruin it. The cadinet is not designed to hold the slate in transport. It twists it, and you can not get it leveled again. The slate is only attached with a few slate screws, and they will snap if you put it on the sides. Each slate piece weighs around 180lbs each. Just looking out for you, and wish you a safe and uneventful move. Brent (3/31/2009)

Response: Thanks - I found the response "interesting" as well...I finally got in touch with our local billiard factory and they have bid $375 to disassemble, move, and reassemble. So, I will probably go with them, I'm sure the price difference is partially due to the fact that they are a local company...From all your feedback you seem do to do great work and everyone likes you. Thanks. (3/31/2009)

Response: Well, I hate to loose out when I will be right area. See, I am cutting it because you see the importance, and I need to get more feedbacks. Once we get to 10 feedbacks then I can do "book it nows". So, You help me, and I will help you. I will be there around you sometime early next week. I am in OH to Pa now, then to NC and GA, and then to Dallas, and then I can do you or whatever, and I am returning later that week from NV to El Paso. I have not mapquested you on my travel but either way works for me (hopefully the shortest drive saving fuel). I like your response, and I am sure you will be impressed with my work. I am also an avid pool player who when I have time I give lessons in Evansville. Trust me, you will not get better work...This is my passion, and I am trying to corner the market right now, and willing to make deals happen. Brent (3/31/2009)

Response: Thanks for the matching bid. I need to check on some things to see if the floor in the other house will be ready for the table early next week. Do you recommend a certain type of pad to go under the legs for a hardwood floor? We are worried about denting the floor. (3/31/2009)

Response: We use a special rubber disc/ shim made for pool table leveling on hardwood floors. These are slide resistant, and they will protect your floor. You can also get a rug if you want, but not necessary; however if you want a rug...put it there before the table goes in...too hard to place after table is set up. We would charge to tear daown, and resetup if you called our store to simply put a rug under it. The table is too fragile on level, and too heavy to pick up....this may cause damage. So, to answer...we have what is needed already at no extra charge, but if rug is desired definately get before table goes in. I do not even know exactly when getting to you, but it will be sometime middle to late next week. I can tell you more once the bid is accepted, and we will work around your schedule within a couple of days. I may be ready to rest for a day once in Texas...hehehe...Brent (3/31/2009)

Response: Ok, thanks for the rubber disc/shim information. The table is going to my brother's house and he wants a rug, so we have to find one. Also, the room is not 100% ideal for a table, so I wanted to confirm that you would be willing to work with us in finding the best setup/position for the table within the room, etc. Are you insured? Looking at our schedules, do you think a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday of next week would work for you? Next Friday won't work for us...Thanks! (4/1/2009)

Response: Yes we are fully insured under our commercial policy of $300,000 repair/ replacement cost for damage to anything we do....way more than enough for what we do. I can not possible make an appointment for a specific day. I am on the road right now traveling to Oaks, PA...every table and every job is different. What I do know is once you are commited then I will factor you in the schedule. I am hoping not to be in Texas until thursday, so that time frame works for us. We will call as we are routing closer to you to give you updates, and a more definate ETA....Now it is just up to you to accept the bid, and we will call you with conformation. (4/1/2009)
