Special Handling Instructions:

Enclosed transportation required. Size and weight are close but not exact, precise measurements can be provided if this is an issue. This is a refurbished Monarch Upright Player Piano (1930’s.) Needs to be picked up and loaded (assistance available) and delivered and setup in our home (no assistance). I was told it would be packaged for shipment. However, shipper will be responsible for any damage incurred during shipment so some additional protection may be needed.

Additional Information: There is no moving assistance available at DELVERY location. Mover is responsible for unloading and setup into a single story home. This involves navigating 30' of flat sidewalk, two 8" porch stairs, and one 36" door.

Response: Good morning and would need a little more details first please before able to toss a price up 1) More than likely, where it is and what he does has an easy access as he does this for a living. I would suspect a ground level shop or exit with it? 2) Down in Georgia, please tell me about the location of where it goes? ie.. 1st floor? Are there steps and how many (to bring a smaller ramp if needed). Please understand, sight unseen is hard to do, and even harder playing email notes here. Thank you, Jim (9/15/2009)

I have never been there so don't know the details. My house is a one-story and Piano would need to be moved from the driveway 40' up two steps onto the porch, straight through a 36" front door and into the ajacent dining room. (9/15/2009)

Response: Hello, Gabriel here from American Moving. We handle over 300 pianos a year, without claim for many years. Some routes would allow us to pickup and deliver pretty quick, others require a longer time on truck due to many stops. We can do $850 with a 60 day window to pickup, then deliver within 10 days, or pickup within 30, deliver within 30. Which works for you? (10/8/2009)

Response: Hello Chris, Although they will be able to help you load the piano at the pickup point, I would need more then "assistance" with the unload. This is a heavy piano and it took three healthy mean to move it last time and my back is not what it used to be. If we can work out the details I would consider your offer. Thanks.
