Question: any help available with loading and unloading? if so, can load up this week and del for 600, due at pick up via paypal or credit card. please let me know as i will be in rochester/buffalo area for a few days. thanks. (10/18/2009)

Response: There will be for the Fort Mill end if you give me a time, but for the EA end, I could possibly arrange if necessary.
How would you be moving this and do you have any insurance if the piano is damaged?
Would you settle for $500, if yes, you have a deal. thanks. (10/19/2009)

Response: Would be loaded into a box truck. I carry full coverage insur for up to 50k, and being a one man operation, and although I havea ramp and a flat dolly,I would need some assist with both loading and unloading. Should have plenty of time to arrange though since my last delivery decided to head out of town until this next sunday so I'm going to be in the area a full week. And would you be willing to split the difference? (10/19/2009)

Response: Howard, I will need to get a tune up for the piano since it is not a climate control vehicle, so that is why I was not wanting to pay over $500 because I have to pay for that as well. I want to make this work, so let me know if you think that is fair. Thanks. (10/20/2009)

Response: it isn't a matter of what kind of vehicle its transported in, it has to do with the climate its going to. any piano that is going from one geographical area to another will almost surely need tuned. Myself, I would probably not know the difference but some people can. As for rate, honestly, 550 is the lowest I can go..understand that Uship charges me a match fee of around 12 percent right off the top. If you can work with that then say the work, I'll submit the formal bid, and we'll get this done and off your "To-Do" list. (10/20/2009)

Response: Howard, ok. I just need to check and see if I can get help on the East Aurora side for someone to load it with you. If so, I will get back to you and I will do this for $550. Thanks. (10/20/2009)

Response: ok thanks..depending on the loading situation..ie steps etc and how close i can get my truck, shouldn't take too much as i will put it on my flat dolly and roll it up the ramp. also, remember that payment is required at time of pick up vie either paypal or credit card. thanks..let me know when you're ready to accept the bid and i'll submit it right away. (10/20/2009)

Question: we also can do this for $550 just need to know is there any steps involved, if so how many, and what time frame are you looking for, thanks, Brian, BGS (10/20/2009)

Response: Brian, just seeing this question. I am assuming that you can see all replies on this board. If so, do you have any need for people to help with loading? If not, and I see that you have insurance, I will accept a bid that is for $550. Thanks. (10/21/2009)

Response: No if piano is in the garage ground level no need for help I can handle it myself I will place my bid now (10/21/2009)

Question: any possibility of making this happen todasy? (10/21/2009)

Response: Howard, yes. I have not heard back about help, but it is at my mother's house and it will be in the garage and if you believe that a dolly is all you need, I think it should work. Do you need my contact number? (10/21/2009)

Response: these still need at least 2 people, dolly or not, even if one has a lift gate. It will need to be put on my dolly, which isn't too difficult in of itself, but rolling it up the ramp will take 2 people, same with getting it down. If your mom can have a neighbor assist that would be great. (10/21/2009)

Response: oh..you can't give out contact info here..a big NO-NO. only way that becomes available is when a bid is accepted. (10/21/2009)

Question: I think I have a way to get this up my ramp..I can pick up a small electric winch to pull the dolly, with the piano secured to it, up the ramp. Used one before..kinda slow but works,,still need a little help getting the piano on and off the dolly though. Let me know. (10/21/2009)

Response: OK. I think it will be ok. Can you pick this up by 10/30? If so, please place a bid so we can get this worked out. Thanks. (10/22/2009)

Response: I can pick up as soon as tomorrow..or whenever works better. Will place bid now. (10/22/2009)

Response: Bid is in at 550, due at time of pick up via PayPal or credit card, and awaiting your acceptance. Please accept promptly and double check your contact numbers as I will call you as soon as bid has been accepted. Thanks, Howard. (10/22/2009)
