Question: You only name 2 but show 4 drafts. How many exactly is it? Please let me know. Thanks. (10/13/2009)

Response: There are only two, Pete from Idaho and Gruffy from Iowa. I would pay some more if necessary to get them here sooner. thanks Norm Brown (10/13/2009)

Response: What is your price range?
(10/13/2009)

Response: I would pay $1000 but that is the limit for my budget. Norm (10/13/2009)

Response: I wish I could but that would only cover fuel. I could only do that if I overnighted in the trailer and hand walked them. (Box stall for the first until the second is picked up.) I am a small shipper and cannot compete price wise with larger haulers. Let me know if there is anything I can do. Thanks. (10/13/2009)

Response: I understand. I spoke with my wife and it looks like your references are good. What type of insurance do you carry for this work. Would you consider $1500. Do you know how long it takes to get the Idaho brand inspection, everything else for both boys is in place, coggins and healther certificates. Thanks Norm (10/13/2009)

Response: Yes I would consider $1500. I can check into insurance, but we normally leave that to the shipee; however I take care of the horses as they are mine and treat them as I would want mine treated. Brand inspections are usually done in 1 day if like in NV. You have the inspection the day they come out. NV its about $10 plus mileage for a one times inspection, not sure on Idaho. Let me know and in the meantime I will check into insurance prices. Thanks (10/13/2009)

Response: I emailed Nick at Barney Shires and he is getting that done today or tomorrow. I presume they will be ready when you are. What is your schedule? What did you find out about insurance? Let me know and you can place the right bid for me to accept. Thanks Norm (10/14/2009)

Response: I have put in bid requests from several companies, but haven't heard back yet. As for timefrain, I am ready to head out anytime in Nov. Let me know when paperwork will be ready and I can set the date to work with that. Thanks. In meantime will put in bid below. (10/14/2009)

Response: Let me know on the insurance. So Nov is the earliest you can bring them east? Norm (10/14/2009)

Response: Nov is the earliest as I have a wedding to attend later this month in CA and promised my little ones trick or treating this year (their first time), as for insurance I will check, also going to check with who my trailer is insured with. There are also sites you may check that let you pick type and insure your horse for duration of travel only. (10/14/2009)

Response: let me know who those insurance companies are and I will call them Norm (10/14/2009)

Response: Being uship does not allow web sites given out, look up equine insurance, Broadstone equine insurance, Agri-risk services, just to name a few. Agsites list a few. I haven't done my own in a while. I will be checking my trailer company in the morning. (10/14/2009)

Question: We can offer transport for both horses, same trip, within a week and half. Bid would be $1200. Let me know and I will place bid (10/15/2009)

Response: That would work out great. What do you carry for insurance for the horses? Let me know and I will ensure they are ready. I have paid in the past 50% up front the remainder upon deliver. Norm (10/15/2009)

Response: We carry up to $2000 insurance per horse. 50% deposit up front to M and N and the remaining at delivery. I will place bid (10/15/2009)

Response: How do we increase your coverage to $4000 per horse prior to transport and what is the cost. Also could you provide your DOT and FMCS numbers. Your feed back is great. I understand the cancellation. What day might you do the pick up if all is in order. The only piece I am waiting for is the Idaho Brand Inspection which was going to be done either today or tomorrow. Thank Norm Brown (10/15/2009)

Response: You would be responsible for getting insurance on the horses for an amount of over $2000 each. We do not have DOT, hence it not being advertised. (10/15/2009)

Response: When could you pick these guys up? Let me know asap as they are ready to go with all the paperwork in order. I did change the target price which required me to as you to rebid. thanks Norm (10/18/2009)

Response: We can pick up between October 24-28th. I could give you an exact date a little closer to time. I must know by tomorrow, as we are booking already. I have rebid (10/18/2009)

Question: Please keep in mind that ALL haulers are REQUIRED to have and provide CARGO insurance by law. Using a non USDOT carrier means that you have NO recourse in the event that something goes wrong. Best of luck to you!!! (10/16/2009)

Response: What would you charge for delivering these boys to their new home? Also how much insurance is covered on each horse. We are paying $4000 each and want at least that much insurance on them during transport. I appreciate your response and honesty. Norm Brown, Jefferson NH 03583 We would like to get them shipped asap. They are ready to go. I liked the previous bid but insurance is an issue. (10/16/2009)
