is the trailer roadworthy and ready for a trip that long? Registered? Lights work? etc? I have a truck leaving LA on the morning of the 15th and could tow it, but your max is a little low for that distance? Report a Violation
Response: Everything works. Trailer lights. The trailer registration expires on the 31st of August. The tires are fairly new. I even have a spare. I am thinking about selling it since the value is only about $1200. This is the only reason I don't want to pay a lot. If the cost is too high, I will just keep it in California. I can probably do $400 but that is my max. If it is not worth it for you, than I understand.7/12/2012Report a Violation
Response: : one question on the tires. What size are they? I know it's an odd question, but I ask because many of those smaller tires on small trailers like that aren't meant for freeway speeds, and long trips tend to cause blowouts because the small tires spin so fast they heat way up.
