Questions for this shipment:
Question:
Have you found a hauler yet? I may have a truck and open trailer that could haul your stuff if you are ok with an open trailer covered by a tarp. Please let me know asap. Quincy OrHai Bozeman, MT (11/30/2004)
Response:
Can you wrap our items in blankets and cover them? (11/30/2004)
Question:
We could wrap stuff in blankets and a tarp. There will be 2 Subaru station wagons on board, so there may be some room in them for chairs, etc. How close are you to the Interstate? The trailer is 40 feet long, and not too easy to get into tight places. (11/30/2004)
Response:
What kind of truck is it that it is open and carrying cars? Would our stuff be safe? Both dropoff and pickup are in neighborhoods. One on a culdesac location. (11/30/2004)
Question:
It's looking like the trip is on! How we might be able to safely ship your stuff is wrapped in tarps in the back of the truck or on the trailer next to the cars or possibly in the cars for items that will fit. There will be 3 empty Subaru station wagons on the truck. How much of your stuff will fit into them? Is it ok to lay the bureaus on their backs? How much help will be available for loading and unloading? Possible loading time might be next Tuesday morning, or possibly Thursday morning. I could bring special plastic matress bags to put around the box springs and matress, then wrap a tarp around them. Does the Queen size bed disassemble? How big and what material is the headboard and frame? I think, if we can do this, I would do it for $0.50 / mile, or $310.00, assuming there will be at least one able body to help Josh load and unload. We will guarantee the safety of your stuff. (12/1/2004)
Response:
Let me know when exactly you will be going. Thurs is too late and tues is really not a good day. but we are interested in doing this if it can work. If it is snowing or raining will our stuff be damaged that is my concern. Bureaus can lay on sides and prob fit in subaru wagon , I am not sure if bed frame comes apart but I assume so. (12/1/2004)
