Additional Information: I am trying to move my sailboat from LaSalle, MI to Norfolk, VA. It is sitting on a trailer that another transporter could not transport. Last used, the trailer was fine. Consider putting on low-boy trailer.

Questions for this shipment:

Question: what was the issue with the other trailer,what size ball,and what kind light hook up? (11/1/2007)

Response: According to the transporter, my trailer swayed on his truck over 40 mph.I am working in VA and was unable to be there when he tried. His trailer was not set up to carry a sailboat. More equipped for power boat. Previous to this haul, I had my boat transported on my trailer across Michigan and back with no problem. The ball size is either 2" or 2 5/8". I do not have straps for the sailboat. (11/1/2007)

Response: The boat is on the trailer. I did have the boat transported on the trailer across Michigan and back with no problems (I did replace all tires (6) for the trip back). (11/1/2007)
