Question: Hi, I am a local San Diego food distributer/owner operator with a large refer semi. I would be interested in doing this haul for you. I would be free on 10/7 or 10/11. Do any of those dates work for you? (9/20/2008)
Response: It looks like the grapes will harvested on 10-10 and ready to ship around 1 pm, are you able to pick up on 10-10 and deliver that evening or is the morning 10-11 better? thanks Brian (10/1/2008)
Response: Hi, Unfortunately we booked a load for the 11th. I spoke with my driver and we can pick up early AM on the 12th...around 7:00 am if that will work? We haul a semi with a 35' refrigerated trailer. We will ship your grapes at the temperature you choose. We are a local food distributer specializing in perishable items. We haul for all the major southern California produce companies, and are experienced with food handling and have all the licenses and permits required. We have no problem fitting the 18 bins and any x-tra that you will have. Let me know if that will work and we will place a bid. (10/1/2008)

Question: Shipper is the destination a house or a business with a forklift?? I just noticed that on the description. I also have an increased cost to load your grapes friday afternoon & deliver saturday, your posted dates are loading thursday & delivering friday. I can do it but it's a total of $1270 instead of my current bid. I also may have my van trailer available but will not know until the day before, but my air ride stepdeck is a sure thing. Response: Destination is a business with 2 forklifts. What would be the est time of delivery on Saturday or Friday eveing? We can accept delivery as late as you need on Friday but would like to get the grapes before 11 AM on Saturday. Van or Stepdeck either is fine...Stepdeck might be easier to load and unload quickly. Response: Yes I can load @ Noon-1pm friday in Paso Robles & be in Oceanside Sat morning by 10am at the latest. Air ride drop deck is fine with me and unless you have anymore questions and agree to the revised cost we have a deal.
