Question: Hi, I am Tom. We have been in business of moving mobile homes for 26 years. The bid is too low for me to bid, just wanna let you know that you need permits for each state that the park model passes through. In addition, most states will not allow it to be towed by a pick-up. For eaxmple...Florida law states it must be pulled by semi. Be careful that you dont end up with this thing sitting at a scale house somewhere due to being put "out of service" due to hauling method. Question: I did a little free research for you, oregon requires pilot escort (flag car) for some of the routes, in addition to amber lights on rear of load. All states require special permit because load is over 10 feet. Georgia, florida, tenn. as well as many of the other states say unit must be pulled by power unit of certain weight class. Pickup, or even 1 tom pickup do not qualify to haul this load. Just a little information for you to consider. (10/23/2007)
