Questions for this shipment:
Question:
Hi… did I understand your shipping need to be that you wish to transport 1 ea. 24” Paurotis Palm and another one in a 15 gal container? If so, I can pick up your plants tomorrow morning with a same day delivery; depending on how early and how late I can pick and deliver them for your target price of $400. Shall I place a bid today? Please review my profile for any additionally needed information… David (10/12/2005)
Response:
David, Just some more information for you. I spoke with the nursery yesterday and told them I would purchase the palms if I could find a driver to deliver. The nursery is only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I have placed a call, but I may not hear back until tomorrow morning. (10/12/2005)
Question:
PS: If there is really only one of each, I can transport them inside of my luxury doubel A/C unit motor coach too. Otherwise, I would use my custom 22' enclosed car transporter. (10/12/2005)
Response:
There is only 1 each. I am purchasing them from the JD Andersen Nursery in Fallbrook. (10/12/2005)
Question:
Ok… shall we gamble and hope that they will have your plants ready tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM? I can be waiting at their door when they open up and as I would be driving; or anyone would be too, having them inside of my coach will be; as Martha S. would say… a Good ‘Thing… smile…David (10/12/2005)
Response:
If your willing to gamble then so am I. If I don't hear back from them today I will call until I reach them tomorrow morning. My contact at the nursery is named Dan also. When I set up the shipment request I agreed to pay for the shipment by credit card is that acceptable? (10/12/2005)
Question:
OK… I’ll gamble with you too. As for the Credit Card issue, I only currently accept Credit Card Checks, as PayPal is now holding over $8,000 of my money; and I don't want to give them anymore $$$ to play with right now, and they won’t release it because they think I am attacking my own account… Go Figure! David (of course, the old fashioned green stuff will work too… It’s still fashionable … smile) (10/12/2005)
Response:
I put another call into their office number and still waiting on a call back. AMEX or Visa? Also the directions on uship are wrong once you head east on Queen Creek Rd in Arizona. Call me at 602-809-0449 when you get to that point and I'll give you the correct directions or here ya go: Queen Creek east to Arizona Ave Arizona Ave south (right) to Ocotillo. Ocotillo east (left) to Pinelake Way. Right onto Pinelake Way to Alamosa. Right on Alamosa which loops into Exeter. 4295 S Exeter is the address. (10/12/2005)
Question:
Credit card checks are all the same regardless of bank, thus either is fine as they each will allow you to still charge in a check form. As for the added information you just provided, I cannot act upon it until you formally accept my bid (I am just old fashioned about such things), so should I place a bid today? Once you do, we can talk directly with each other then... David (10/12/2005)
Response:
This process is new to me so place bid and I'll accept it. Thanks, Dan (10/12/2005)
