Question: Hi, Are you sure about the freight class? Please get back to me I would like to place a bid but I think the freight class may be lower than what you have listed. (6/5/2008)
Response: Well, when I called the center that makes the codes in Charlotte, I can't remember the name, they told me the class was 150 for medical devices, syringes. What code would you think it would be? My current supplier says it should be class 250, which is why I am looking for a new freight carrier. Thanks (6/5/2008)
Response: Well I checked with a very good trucking company that we use and they said that syringes are a density item and based on the dimensions you provided of 2 pallets each with dimensions of (48 x 42 x 72) and a total weight of 860 pounds the class should be 92.5. But if the shipper is telling you class 150 maybe we should base it on that just to be safe. Let me know what you think. (6/5/2008)
Response: I made an error in the initial request for a quote. The total weight for the 2 pallets is 430, not 860. They are not very densely packaged. How would that change things? (6/5/2008)

Question: OK...based on the updated information of 2 pallets that are 48 x 42 x 72 with a total weight of 430 pounds the class is 150. I will submit my quote below under allfreight. I will need to get paid via credit card for this shipment up front and if you want to do future shipments you can fill out our credit application and be setup on terms. (6/5/2008)
