we bought this trk sight unseen so we really dont know how its gunna do,we cross our fingers it looks and runs as good as it do in the pics. no punt intended but i feel ur rate is high for we can have it loaded on a trl and hauled here for a few hundred or so more. a question tho if i understand it we wouldnt have to have insurance or plates on the trk ? also im gunna reread but i dont think it says anywhere in ur bid about havin half up front ? i wish we could get half up front when we do our trips that would be nice.we are gunna discuss our options more this weekend and will make our disscison on sunday or monday. Response: Shipper, with all due respect, we move all trucks for Arrow Truck Sales in Phoenix and have an excellent reputation for reliability and fairness in price. On USHIP we do not yet have a working relationship with the customer and require the deposit as good faith payment. I would lower my bid $300 to secure a shipment. we have our own plates and insurance, $100,000 coverage on your vehicle at no extra cost to you. Look forward to hearing from you Sunday or Monday. with all do respect we are just a owner operator that buys some trucks here and there, we aint near as big as arrow or have the money they do.
do your drivers do an inspection and a condition report of the vehicle before they move it ? and if so would they be willing to fax it so we would have something to go on when it shows up? and like i said we have no idea what dot status its in i would hope its dot and road ready. also when he or she shows up and we chk the truck out and all is done what do your drivers do like do we have to take them somewhere or how do that work its a ways to dfw from where we live ? thanx D (8/1/2009)
Response: Shipper, yes we do a full inspection on the vehicle and can fax over a copy of it before moving it. We take care of all transportation for our driver. We are not a large transport company and there have been problems in the past with shippers not paying at delivery. It is not something that is easy to remedy as we do not have unlimited drivers or unlimited bankroll. So it's just policy to ask for the deposit to at least cover our expenses. Question: Hi. I could drive your truck to you for $2200. I would do a full inspection and could send you a copy. I am delivering a truck to the WA area from chicago. You would have to have plates put on the vehicle. I have commercial insurance that I could put on truck, but I would prefer you put your own on this vehicle because of the unknown condition of the truck. I have know doubt that any problems with the truck that would hinder delivery I could catch and fix before delivery, but its hard to see internal problems, so you never know.
