Additional Information: I have a heavy and large piece to be picked up in Northridge (Los Angeles) CA and shipped to Minneapolis Mn. 55430 commercial address. The main Unit weighs 220 Lbs and is approximately 24x48x14. It is a piece of Optical/mechanical equipment and needs TLC.I've attached pictures of the unit along with the control unit (Box on top) and loading station(14"x18"x5") and one of the 2 drums(12"x6" each. The light box under the loading station is not included. It will be banded to a pallett and covered in plastic. Please see pictures. It will require pading and nothing can be stacked on it.

Question: Hello , Yes this fragile shipment will be safe and padded to the max with heavy blankets and thick pieces of foam . This foam is about 2 inches thick that we use to protect items like yours. All this will be strech wrapped to your item. It will also have its own place in the trailer with nothing else around it. Question: Hello , Yes we can put this ona pallet as well and use 2 or 3 ratchet straps to hold it onto the pallet. I have the only active bid rite now it is for your amount of $600 total price. Delivered door to door with insurance. Thank You Steve (6/10/2007)

Response: Steve, Sorry, I'm not sure wheather we are working details out or not. The owner of the scanner has it on a palett banded and covered with plastic. It has several small cardboard boxes with it containing accessories. You offered to palatize it yourself and shipp for 550.00 This slightly high for me. If you could do it for 500.00 we are on. If not let me know what you can do it for. Please also let me know how we do a contract and how I pay. Please get back to me. This has been very confusing trying to get this organized long distance. Response: Hello Harry,I had a shipmnet cancel its your lucky day! I understand your position with this shipment and am now able to help you with it. But will have to have $575 to ship it for you this does include all the uship fees.. But once again time is not on your side here as I have other bids out and am trying to fill this opening. If the item does not fit into the open area it may need to be removed from the pallet and shipped without a pallet we will decide this on pickup. Just wanted to tell you that. Response: by the way the pickup times at the location are 9 to 4 Monday through Friday. Northridge is the location but accordingI have to let him know ASAP so he can finalize the arrangements on his end. Response: Dear Steve. I was asked by Jeff what you need at his end. Obviously, if he doesn’t need to bother with the pallet and all that it would be great for him. If you plan to use the pallet how much does he need to do. Does he need to strap the scanner and boxes to the pallet and cover with plastic or what. Response: You sound like the person I want to use. I did receive an offer from someone else befor I signed up for Uship. I thought UShip asked me for the price of a bid I already had which was 600.00 with boxing as well. If you would be interested in making me a bid which is what I thought would happen...please do so. Response: Steve, Thanks for the return email. I was affraid I'd pissed you off. I said that I've reached a critical point. I purchased this scanner knowing that it was a pick up only deal but I could not let it go by. The guy who has it says I have to get it out of his space or he will have to send it to the scrap yard. I'm a not to affluent artist and this is something I could Really use. If you can think of a fellow shipper who could do the deal I'd appreciate it. I know you bid until you have a full truck.
