Junk Listing Information
  • One extremely large box.
  • Junk Details: 1920 Oriole Stovve
  • Dimensions(s):42 by 21 by 4 feet, approximates the hubby
Additional Information: I'm just looking to get quotes right now. The stove is in a storage facility in VA and I am in England, coming back home in Jun.
There is no room in my home for it and I can't seem to pawn it off on a consignment shop.
Please, someone, take it!
I do have a picture though, and if an interested party were to place a bid on it, I will gladly send them a picture.

Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hello, how are you? I hope doing well. So what you are trying to do is get someone to pick it up and dispose it for $100? (4/16/2008)
Response: Yes, I would like someone to pick it up and haul it away. (4/16/2008)
Response: When can it be ready? Also, I will be charged $20 just for the site linking us together. So $100 is the lowest I can go, plus I have to pay for it to be disposed at the dump (4/16/2008)
Response: Hmmm.. wonder why $100 is the lowest you can go. You're the first person to respond and with that being said, I'd like to see if someone will go a tad lower. I thank you for your quick response. Once my household goods arrive into Maryland, sometime in July, I will then be wishing to haul that away and possibly other stuff, as long as the hubby isn't home at the time - I can probably get away carting more away!! But for now, it's just a stove. (4/16/2008)
Response: O.K. Well, i will place my bid and leave it up there. If you are lucky maybe someone lives by you and can take it to the dump. I live in Va. so coming up there (fuel) getting, loading and unloading it (labor) and the cost of dumping it. So even bidding $80 would leave me $60 before I even left my house because this site is not free for the carriers, then factor te fuel and the dump would leave me about $20-30. Honestly, YOU would'nt even do that (4/16/2008)
Response: I understand fully about not wishing to go lower and you do live so far away. Yes, gasoline is wicked expensive these days, especially for a huge truck. With high gasoline prices, labor and the far away distance, I almost feel guilty about accepting the bid. So, let me see if someone who does live closer responds. Thanks again. (4/16/2008)
Question: Is it ready now or will I need to wait for you to come back from England? Thanks!! (4/16/2008)
Response: Nope, it's not ready yet; though I wish it were. (4/16/2008)
Response: O.K. I appreciate your understanding. Good luck to you. Thanks again and God Bless (4/16/2008)
Question: when will it be ready or when will you back in the country. and honestly you wont find anybody (halfway decent) to do for less than $100. Even me living in GlenBurnie it would cost me $30 with a pickup just in fuel. Thank you Bobby (4/16/2008)
Response: I trust that you are probably right on this one and I thank you for your straightforwardness. I will be back in June, but my household goods aren't due to arrive until July. Since I just sent out this quote out and applied to other companies, I'd like to see how they respond. I'd never even thought of junking an item such as this before, but now I have no choice. For $100, would you haul this item away? (4/17/2008)
Question: when can this be done? can it be done on May 9 or 10? (4/17/2008)
