Questions for this shipment:

Question: Can he/she ride as a passanger in my motor home? I just joined Uship so I have no feedback but I love animals and have always had them in my life. Your dog will be well cared for and get a lot of loving. (2/23/2007)
Response: Oh definitely! In fact, whenever we travel with him, we lay the back seat down in our SUV and put his bed there where he lays and sleeps. He LOVES being "with the pack," and would actually do better out of the crate travelling. He is a great companion and again, a terrific traveler. (2/23/2007)
Question: I will be visiting relatives in West Palm the end of Feb. for a week or so. I can pick him up anytime after March 10th. (2/23/2007)
Response: And how long would you anticipate the trip being? It would be great if you could tell me a little bit more about yourself - Have you ever transported pets before - formally or informally? Do you have a pet, etc. Would Mak be traveling with just your or with family, etc? Any information you think would be relevant would be great! Thanks (2/23/2007)
Question: As I said I am new to this so am flying blind myself as far as how long it will take, etc. I usually go as the spirit moves me unless I have a deadline. I drove truck for eleven years and had my dog with me. Daisy loved it until she got too big (yellow lab). She is now very happy on a ten acre farm with a pond. She loves water. I get to visit anytime which I do. Otherwise I just go in my RV till I feel like stopping. There are so many places to visit but I don't like to just go without a reason. This would give me something to do with a purpose! And I know we would enjoy ourselves a lot more. By the way...I am alone, family is grown and puts up with me whenever I feel like going home. Any other questions please feel free to ask! (2/23/2007)
Question: Sorry, I never did answer about how long the trip would take. I would guess ten to 14 days. (2/23/2007)
Response: That's neat. You must miss traveling with your lab... I imagine you would be sleeping in the RV, right? Where did your dog sit/lay during the travels? I think Mak would prefer being as close to you as possible - would you be able to sort of fence off a little area for him to lay close to your seat or would you rather him be in the crate? Would we be able to have contact with you during the trip? (2/23/2007)
Question: Yes I do miss Daisy being with me. She was such good company. I will be sleeping in the RV unless there is severe weather. If i have to get a motel I will be sure to find one that accepts pets. I used Motel 6 most of the time. Daisy took turns sleeping on the bunk or sitting shotgun. Mak is welcome to pick his spot. There is plenty of floor space, passanger seat, and couch that makes into a bed. Most of my dogs slept in my bed but if you don't want me teaching him new tricks that is ok too. There is also a table that converts into a bed so he can have that if he wants. As far as conversing.. cell phones or e-mail are acceptable by uship only after the job has been finalized. I have both so we would be able to keep in touch as much as you want. Mak could "talk' to you too. He would probably feel comfort hearing your voices. He sounds like a neat dog. (2/23/2007)
Question: Does Mak get along with other dogs? There is a family in Orlando looking for transportation for their bull dog to California. I was wondering if that would work out for Mak. (2/24/2007)
Question: I meant to say a poodle,12lbs. (2/24/2007)
Response: That should be fine - however, I just wanted to let you know that I received and am considering a bid for a time frame that would be shorter than your offer which means Mak would be home to us sooner. Thanks so much for your correspondence and consideration. (2/25/2007)
Question: I USED TO RAISE AND TRAIN RIDGEBACKS! WHAT TERRIFIC ANIMALS. I JUST TOOK ONE FROM OCALA TO LAKE HAVASU, AND THE PUP COULD ACTUALLY NAVIGATE. I'M GETTING SET UP FOR A TRIP, DEPARTING PORT ST LUCIE FOR MY ARIZONA HOME WITH STOPS IN NORTHERN/CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN CAL. AND, YOUR TIMEFRAME WORKS PERFECTLY FOR ME! I CAN MEET YOUR TARGET TIME AND PRICE, IF MAK CAN READ A MAP? :-) MAK AND I WOULD RIDE IN MY BIG DUALLY WITH A BUNK IN THE BACK SEAT. HE'D RIDE IN CLIMATE CONTROLLED COMFORT WITH ME. I'VE INCLUDED SOME FEEDBACK FROM A FORMER PARTNERSHIP IN MY "BID DETAILS". THE LADY WHO ENDED HER FEEDBACK "SEMPER FI" SENT HER 90 POUND RIDGEBACK PUP TO AZ, WITH FRIENDS WHILE SHE SERVES A TOUR IN IRAQ. I'LL BID YOUR TARGET AND TIMEFRAME, THEN USHIP WILL AUTOMATICALLY FURNISH YOU AND I WITH CONTACT INFO, AND WE CAN DISCUSS LOGISTICS. CHECK MY PROFILE AND FEEDBACK, PLS. NEED TO KNOW IMMEDIATELLY, THO! CAPT DALE VNVeteransXpress (2/25/2007)
Response: What happened to your account? It tells me it has been suspended. Is this true? (2/26/2007)
Question: (Incidentally, I raise yellow labs, Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherds, now!) My GP stud weighs 205 pounds! Capt Dale (2/25/2007)
Response: Again, Please tell me what is going on with your account status. Thank you (2/26/2007)
Question: That's fine. I know two weeks is a long time. Thank you for your consideration. (2/25/2007)
Response: HI again. I just want to keep you in the loop. I am still trying to figure out the best plans for Mak afterall. May I still keep you in mind? I will be making a decision soon, but I still need some more time. Let me know. Thanks! (2/26/2007)
Question: Hi, I am sorry but I am not going to California after all. I will keep an eye on you and let you know if anything changes. I know there are people going that way. So I hope you have luck with it...RamblinRose (2/26/2007)
Question: Pls read bid "details"? WarriorSix (2/27/2007)
Question: YES, as a retired military officer(35 years, USAR), I still work and live by "THE CODE". Go ahead, accept, and if you're uncomfortable, I will not hold you to it, and will "retract" my bid. Capt Dale (2/27/2007)
