Response: I was hoping for a lower bid than your estimate. I found someone local in MT who is moving their horses to AZ in mid-March and could make a connection with me or another transporter in southern UT. Will you be in that area then? I would prefer booking the complete trip, but this has come up as an option. (2/19/2008)

Response: I will get back to you as soon as I know more, I am waiting on another bid to see if we will be up there for sure, but if we are then we can meet you in Las Vegas, NM or Santa Fe, NM and we will meet or beat any other transporters price, if you can wait a couple days, until I know more. Response: Thanks for your interest. Coggins result isn't back yet--that's why I listed pick up for the 10th; should have it by next week, but can't promise, will have to check with the folks at the MT end. Do you have a timeframe in mind? Also FYI since I'm sorta remote, I am willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet for drop off. (2/28/2008)

Response: Checking on Coggins status. Your feedback is favorable but your listing doesn't described your operation or equipment--would you tell me a little more about how my mare would be handled? Also, "south of I70" covers a lot of territory; probably I could. Do you mean Raton or Farmington or somewhere in between? For me it's about 5 hrs to Farmington, 2+ hrs to Raton. (2/29/2008)

Response: As of this afternoon, no coggins report. Under the circumstances it doesn't look like we will have all the necessary papers and inspections in order in time. Since I'm asking someone else to do all that for me, it isn't fair to put them under that much pressure. I know you need an answer for your own planning, so I'll have to pass on this one.
