Questions for this shipment:
Question:
i am going to statesville the week before easter and could do this for you then for a good price then or sooner but not as cheap now if interested give me a reply thanks wilie (3/9/2006)
Response:
My timeline is totally open, so that would be fine. What price would you be able to do around easter? Thanks so much. (3/9/2006)
Question:
your move is around 600 miles i can do this the week before easter for $540 total cash on delivery thanks wilie (3/10/2006)
Response:
thanks for getting back to me. Your price is very reasonable, however someone has quoted one lower. Since the truck is older, I have to do this as inexpensively as possible. Thanks again. (3/10/2006)
Question:
Hi, Shipper! I can do this for you the wkend of 4/14 for $529 (all-incluseive) on an open trailer. May be able to move you sooner, as early as 3/17, depending on bids I already have out. Let me if you're interested, and we'll get your truck home safely and promptly. THANKS!!! todd (3/10/2006)
Response:
The week of 4/14 would be perfect actually. Your price is wonderful, and I don't mind taking a chance on a newbie :) Would you want cash on delivery or a deposit now to hold the date? Thanks (3/10/2006)
Question:
well since i was cut by a little bit i will put in a bid for $475 and deliver it the week b 4 easter cash on delivery thanks wilie (3/10/2006)
Response:
Now that price will definatly work for me. The date is fine also. What additional info, etc, will you need? Thanks so much! (3/10/2006)
Question:
all you have to do now is accept the bid. i can go get it on the 13th of march and store it in my barn until i leave for statesville on the5th or the 6th of april. it does run i hope. cash on delivery thanks wilie (3/10/2006)
Response:
Hi there, It runs fine, just no tags. Is there any way you can pick up after the after March 20th? I am mailing my final payment on the 15th. I will accept bid when I hear back if that is Ok for you. Thanks! (3/10/2006)
Question:
GOOD PRICE SHIPPER!!! (3/10/2006)
Response:
I agree. (3/10/2006)
Question:
Hi, Shipper and Thanks! for responding! Let me get the exact dimensions of your truck before I submit a bid; I don't want to get there only to see the truck won't fit. Provided my trailer will work, I can do this for $469 all-inclusive for the wkend of 4/14. THANKS!!! todd (3/10/2006)
Response:
The best I can find through online research is all approximate, however it seems that a full size half ton 1975 chevy pick up with an 8 foot bed would be around 212" long full length or a 131.5 inch wheel base and an approx width of 65.8 inches (track width). The truck has been lowered so I am not sure of the height, if it is an issue let me know and I will contact the seller. Get back to me if this will work. Thanks BTW another site states the actual width as 117.5 inches. (3/10/2006)
Question:
Thanks for the rapid response! What I really need is the outside width of the tires; the wheel "track" is generally measured from the CENTER of the wheel. The wheelbase (also measured on-center) should be close enough. If you can check with your seller and confirm that outside width, I'll submit my formal bid. THANKS!!! todd (3/10/2006)
Response:
just wanted to let you know I am still waiting on an answer from the seller on the width. Hope to have it today. (3/10/2006)
Question:
after the 20th is no problem i just thought you might need to get it out of where it is thanks wilie (3/10/2006)
Response:
Nope, no hurry, thanks! (3/10/2006)
Question:
If your trailers are 84" between the fenderes guys, you can haul this no problem, unless it's got 10" wide wheels on it with factory backspace, then you'll need to change the front tires (at least 1 of them) to the stock size spare to clear your fenders....just an FYI from a veteran hauler.... (3/12/2006)
Response:
Thanks for the info, I am still waiting for an answer from the seller, but I know it just has standard tires on it. (3/12/2006)
Question:
Hi, Shipper! Me, again; but this time on your truck! Is there a possibility of p/u on 3/17 or 3/18? If I can't move your trailer, maybe I can get your truck home this wkend. Obviously, I can't do both, so if this pans out I'll have to cancel my other bid. THANKS!!! todd (3/13/2006)
Response:
Still waiting on the width answer. Will let you know. (3/13/2006)
Question:
Hi, Shipper! I got your response on the trailer, but then couldn't access the listing. So, I guess you accepted another bid. As for you truck, I can do this the wkends of 4/28 and 5/12, but am booked for the wkend of 4/16. I MAY be available the wkend of 5/5; will know tomorrow. No cash up front. Just let me know if these dates work and I'll submit a formal bid. THANKS!!! todd (3/15/2006)
Response:
I actually have not accepted a bid for the trailer yet. Anyway, if you can do the truck on the weekend of 5/5 OR 5/12 I would take either, just let me know, or go ahead and submit the bid for the 12th and I will accept it. Thanks! (3/15/2006)
