Questions for this shipment:

Question: Jonesboro was my home and I will be going there next weekend or so. I currently live in Tarpon Springs, if you would be willing to drive over to Tarpon Springs I could probably bring it back. Good chance my brother or I know who you are buying it from. If willing let me know and we can work out $$ and time. (5/6/2007)
Response: Sounds like a good possibility. What would you be driving? Would you haul the pump on it's side or standing up? (Doesn't matter to me) Would it be inside a closed vehicle or in an open truck bed or open trailer?? Would the pump need to be packed or crated in order for you to take it? Thank you. (5/6/2007)
Question: I will be in an f-350 dually, 8ft bed and pulling 34' flat trailer. Would probably place in back of truck on it's back, with padding under it. You did not place projected amount on u-ship. I know it would be different having to pick up in tarpon, what are you thinking? I believe this can work. Hope to help. "Enjoy The Journey" (5/6/2007)
Response: I didn't put the amount, figured I would see what kind of bids came up. Also, I will be going to West Virginia the last of June and figured if nothing else worked out I could make a big detour to Jonesboro, visiting Memphis on the way, then go through Louisville, KY and visit my sister and then on to W.Va. But, that is a BIG detour. I would rather have you bring the pump to Tarpon Springs even though I will have to consider the additional expense of a trip to Tarpon Springs. I know you are going to Jonesboro anyway, but I also know you will be going out of your way to pick up the pump for me. Try to give me a number that will be good for both of us, something I can handle and at the same time will help offset your expenses. Thank you very much. (5/6/2007)
Question: Hi, I can pick up the item on Saturday afternoon, May 11 or Sunday afternoon, May 12th, and transport in my enclosed cargo trailer. Item will be secured, blanket wrapped , and insured. I can transport for a fee of $350 with a delivery 5-7 days after pickup. I will place a formal bid if this scenario will work for you. thanks, rick (5/7/2007)
Response: Hi. I appreciate the offer and that may turn out to be the going rate, but that is $70 more than I paid for the pump! I know...not your fault, but I may just have to find some other way to get it. Thanks again, Glenn (5/7/2007)
Question: Hi Glenn, if you want to give me time to obtain other loads to South Florida, I will decrease fee to $235.... and I will guarantee deliver prior to your june 20th deadline. I can submit a bid if this scenario would work for you. thanks,Rick (Knightmoves4u) (5/7/2007)
Question: Glenn, I am reducing my bid to $235. Uship will get approximately $30 of that. So my pick up and delivery times are still the same: pick up on may 11th or 12th and delivery prior to june 20 (probably 7-14 days after pickup) . Thanks, again, rick (knightmoves4u) (5/8/2007)
Question: Glenn - We will be in Miami on Thursday PM and then head north to Lake Fort Worth. Can pick up your pump on Friday or Saturday. We have a large grass mower delivery that is going to Jonesboro, AR. To be delivered to the High School Coach in Jonesboro. Check out my profile - I know you will like. Thanks, LES (5/9/2007)
Response: Les, I read your profile and was very pleased. I am confident you would do a first rate job. Also, sounds like your time frame would work for me. As I understand your mail, you would pick up the pump this Friday or Saturday and bring it to my residence in Lake Worth. If so, that would be a big plus. When do you estimate you would be here? I am just off the Lake Worth exit of the Florida Turnpike. Your profile looks great, and delivering to my door is a big plus. I am trying not to "bury myself" financially in this old pump, so the big question for me now is your price. Let me know what you can do. Thank you, Glenn (5/9/2007)
Question: (5/10/2007)
Question: Reply: Payment would be upon pickup in Tarbon Springs. I will be home Tuesday or Wednesday next week. Will submit new bid per your request. Could possibly pick up late Friday, but more than likely Saturday morning. (5/10/2007)
Response: Hi. At this point my only concern is getting the pump from Tarpon Springs. I would prefer avoiding that trip if possible. You mentioned that you haul hot tubs up and down the east coast. Does that mean you come to the east coast of Florida, anywhere near West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, or Fort Pierce, even the Melbourne area?? If so, maybe we could take care of that part of the delivery some time in the near future. If you were making a run this way, I could meet you somewhere for the exchange. Maybe even Orlando?? Let me know if there is any chance of something like that. Thanks, Glenn (5/10/2007)
