Response: Sorry car runs and drives but is not registered plus backrest on drivers seat is not installed. Its only good to drive onto a trailer. As described there are also 2 sets of Corvette rims (8 boxes) that should go with the car. Thnx Patrick (9/18/2007)

Response: Patrick, I transported a 2006 BMW M6 to Chicago in August for Atlanta Luxury Imports. They were happy. In your area, Sherold Salmon Auto Sales and Raymond Smith Motorcars have known me for almost 20 years. We are not allowed by USHIP to leave phone numbers,sorry. In July I transported a 1959 Edsel to Detroit. It was the 2004 National Champion. I have been doing this for 35 years without a single problem. I'm pretty confident I can handle your job. In fact, I brought a 2005 Porsche Carrera back from Chicago for Atlanta Luxury Imports. They are in Marietta. Gary Tewmey is the General Manager. I do have a PayPal account. Just in case you didn't know, USHIP charges us a pretty high commission for each job so I have to keep that in mind when bidding. I would like to have your job, but I need to stay at the three hundred number. Also, my equiptment is top of the line. Your car would be sitting behind a protective screen on a big 20 foot trailer. Response: Thanks for writing. Here goes ... Looks like I have some coordination problems being that I live in Europe and the seller is hard to reach most of the time. I bought this car over the Internet. The seller is a very nice guy and he was so kind to collect some car parts and such that I needed as well. All the parts are there and the car only needs the battery hooked up and put some air in one of the tires to be ready for pickup, he did that b4 but then I had no shipper. The car is located at his mom's house and it is usually best to call her directly but to do the battery/tire job she would need her son to do it. I've had many bids that expired just because I was not able to reach the seller in time. I'd need someone that is kind of flexible, can talk to an elderly lady in an appropriate way and maybe organize some stuff around this car himself. Did you read about the boxes with wheels that should go with the car? I'm willing to pay extra for the right effort. Pat (4/30/2008)

Response: Yes it does, it's getting urgent. Seller want's the car out of the garage. I'm the new owner. But I see in your profile, that you don't take credit cards or paypal. I won't be on location to pay cash. I might be able to work something out with the seller. I wired money to him before. That way he might be able to pay you cash at pickup. If you're interested please check the posting carefully. #1 seller needs a couple of days notice to get the car ready. #2 there are some aditional boxes that need to go with the car.
