Questions for this shipment:

Question: I have a couple of questions. Is this tractor operational or will it need to be winched onto a trailer? The other is the width. I have a tractor moving utility trailer with sides and the max width I can load is 80 inches. Is the tractor actually 8 ft? (8/4/2008)
Response: I believe it is operational. I am pretty positive that the rear wheels are over 80 inches, and would be safe to say that they may be slightly over 8 feet. The bush hog is 8-10 feet in width. The units can be separated but, it might take some maneuvering to fit both items on the trailer. I believe a deck-over type trailer would be best for transporting the tractor and bush hog. (8/5/2008)
Response: Thank you, this is too wide for my trailer. Best wishes. Luke (8/5/2008)
Question: Yes I have the same question. Is it in running condition so I can drive it up the ramps of my trailer? I am in Victoria and can do this whenever you are ready. Thanx...David. (8/4/2008)
Response: Dave, Tractor should run. Send a quote. The tractor is the same size as a Farmall M. I pretty sure the rear wheels are over 8 feet wide. The bush hog is 8-10 feet in width. (8/5/2008)
Response: Hello,David here. The width of the shredder is critical. We really need to find out if it is more than 8.5 ( 102 in. ) wide, anything more requires a permit. If it is wider, does seller have a way to load it sideways if it is less than 8.5 ft. that way? If you can obtain that info, please get back to me. I owned 2 of those tractors that ran on propane, back in the day when I could afford propane...Thanx---David.. (8/5/2008)
Response: David, I spoke with the seller, and the 450 Farmall tractor width is 8 feet, and the shredder width is 8 feet. (8/6/2008)
Response: Good...That simplifies everything. I will place my bid but it will be next week before I can go get it for you. Going to Okla. on a run tomorrow and have a few small hauls to do over the weekend.Your job will be about 300+ miles for me unless I can pick up something else to haul along the way. Will be in touch. Thanx...David (8/6/2008)
Question: OK I am back home. Did you get the tractor? Is the shredder a pull type? Let me know if you need it hauled. Thanx...David (8/9/2008)
