Additional Information: I have a constuction-type office trailer that I need to have moved from my driveway to a storage location by 12/3/06. The info is as follows:
Trailer: Cliff Industries model 8 ft x 32 ft., single axel. Hitch requires 2-5/16" ball. Tag says gross vehicle weight is 10,000 pounds.
Distance: The trip would be about 6 miles from my house near High Street and 580 freeway in Oakland to the Storage Pro facility at 8855 San Leandro Street in Oakland (just south of the Coliseum, near 880 freeway.) The map accompanying this listing is incorrect; there are no bridges to cross. Simply go down High Street from 590 to 880, go 2 exits, the onto San Leandro Street.
the trailer was moved to my property in March 2006 and is still registered and roadworthy. Report a Violation

Question: Hello I was wondering can't you just get a pickup truck to haul the trailer? and how did you get it there? next what is the actual height? (11/27/2006)
Response: Hi, When I bought the trailer, the owner delivered it for me. I've tried to contact him to see if I could pay him to move it to the storage area, but I guess he is off this week. When he delivered the trailer, he had a 3/4 ton pick-up, I only have a Chevy S-10. The trailer height is 10-11 feet. I have to go home to get the exact measurement. Question: Ok one more Question. Can you tell me exactly where you're located at? I have big rig if I can't use a pickup, so I just want to see whats all involved with the move. (11/27/2006)
Response: Hi Again, I'm located at the corner of Redding Street and Birdsall Ave. in Oakland, near High Street and 580 freeway. This is a residential street and I'm not sure that anything bigger than a pickup could get the trailer out of the driveway and turned onto the street. Do you have a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton pickup?
