Response: Hi Jason, Help on either end would depend on your dates. The top part is the only 2 man, heavy pcs. Also, this is a 100yr old desk - survived all those yrs w/o damage. Insurance money would be just ....money. It couldn't replace it. And any repair would greatly reduce it's value. Top (heavy section) part's "roll" or "tambour" is delicate & needs to be heavily protected. Nothing stacked on top. Nothing near that could shift. Well padded on whichever side sits on the floor of your vehicle. (absorb shock) If your p/u & d/o dates work and you feel you can give me assurances as to it's safe & careful handling, I'll pay $400. + your uShip fee in cash on delivery. Response: Hello, well I am decided if I am going out this weekend or next weekend. This could ride inside my van buy itself with nothing on it or near it. I have many blankets that we could wrap it up keeping it safe, and then drive to NY and have delivered within 10-12 hours. I am hoping to go this weekend but it might be next weekend. I would like to help you out on this. I do not carry insurance however, but like i said it would ride inside the van where it could be seen at all times as well. (5/22/2008)
