Questions for this shipment:

Question: i can do in 3 weeks but thats the soonest. maybe 2 weeks. but i dont shrink wrap but i can load as is. let me know $525 (10/31/2009)
Response: Thank you, but I already have better offers. (10/31/2009)
Question: We could pick this up Monday is a van, loose. Then bring back to our warehouse and place on 1-2 pallets, wrap it, then deliver before 11/9. We could bring pallets to you and wrap it there, it would just have to be able to be forklifted into the van. Our bid is in. Thanks (10/31/2009)
Response: Couln't you do it for $365? and I'll tell you what, you dont' have to palletize it and shrink wrap it. All you need to do when you do the pick up is tape the boxes in order to make sure they don't open in the way. Smaller boxes can even be put inside bigger boxes that have some spare space. You'd pick up the boxes loose in your van, and deliver them loose at the warehouse in NJ. In the case that you do prefer in pallets, there's a forklift to get the pallets out of the van. The pick up could be done monday or tuesday. I'll appreciate you bare with me on this so that I dont have to wait for more bids over the weekend. Also, I'd be listing additional services required like picking up 15 forklift battery chargers and 6 forklift batteries from Stamford, CT going to NJ as well, would you be interested? thanks. (10/31/2009)
Response: The forklift batteries would need to be done in one of our trucks. Those are heavy and would certainly need to be properly packaged for shipping. Be careful of the weight on them, because if they are full, it might be deemed hazmat due to the acid, and if so you need a carrier that is endorsed to do interstate hazmat. As for this delivery, I could meet you in the middle for $400, with the same time frame. If interested, let me know and I will rebid at that rate. Thanks again. (10/31/2009)
Response: Dear Sir, I appreciate the advise, thank you. On this particular shipment I have taken another option since price is everything (the goods to pick up are inexpensive, not fragile at all, and no rush for the service). I certainly hope to have you interested in the chargers / batteries freight when I list it next week. Best regards, (10/31/2009)
Question: Hello shipper. We can do this job for you for 600.0. We are not the cheaoest . Check our feedback which will explain. We can do this monday or tuesday. Let us know a s a p . We will load on our reg truck and bring to our office and palletize. (10/31/2009)
Response: Thank you, but it goes out of my budget. (10/31/2009)
Response: Will 550.00 work? (10/31/2009)
Response: Sorry but I'm entertaining offers between $370 - $420 at the moment, picking up the stuff loose (no wrapping, no pallet, just taping each box)and dropping it loose in NJ. Would you be interested? thanks (10/31/2009)
Response: With all that is there, will it fit into a caravan? Can p/up be early monday am? (10/31/2009)
Response: I'd say that it would definitely fit since you could really pack it up as loose boxes, no need to palletize or shrink wrap as long as you tape them well. Pick up monday ok from 9 AM, if need to be earlier than that I'd give you the contact info to coordinate. Please place your bid ASAP if interested because I need to decide before tomorrow 9 AM. thanks (10/31/2009)
Response: Will the bid right now placed for 420.00 be accepted. Check our profile for your own cofidence. (10/31/2009)
Question: If both locations are open on Saturday I could load and go next Saturday be at pickup point when they open put the loose boxs in the back of my pickup and more valuable boxes in the back seat of my double cab pick up or If delivery location is open till 5 during the week I could leave my normal job at 330 PM and be in somerville by 430PM to unload (10/31/2009)
Response: Unfortunately saturday is no good. sorry (10/31/2009)
Question: I put a bid on this shipment. I preferably would like to just tape up boxes and transport. I would pick up and deliver the same day if that's ok?? Are the measurements you have posted accurate? Let me know, Thanks!! (10/31/2009)
Response: Hi thank you for your bid. Before I consider it I better reply to your concerns: Pick up and delivery on the same day is ok as long as it is done during ofice hours. Taping the boxes (even getting smaller boxes into bigger ones) and handling everything "loose" is fine as long as you make note of the number of boxes picked up and delivered. Finally, the measurements posted are not quite accurate, sorry for that, I guess the picture will just have to do. Thanks. (10/31/2009)
Question: Forgot to ask you what time after 9am is good for you on monday? (10/31/2009)
Response: I would give you the contact info and you could coordinate with her, but I assume that anytime after 9 is ok. A couple of things you should know: - I have bids for $400 now and trying to close at $360, let me know if interested. - If so, do you have required insurance to work on premises? you would be asked for an insurance certificate. thanks (10/31/2009)
Response: We can have the certificate sent over monday am. Can we agree midway at 380.00? (10/31/2009)
Response: Tell you what, although $380 sound better, I NEED to get it down to MAX $360, hope you understand. If you accept it then its yours. [content removed – attempt to circumvent the site] (10/31/2009)
Response: How much weight is involved in the stamford load and how will it be loaded? (10/31/2009)
Response: There's 15 chargers at about 250 - 300lbs each, and 6 batteries at 60lbs each. Only the batteries are in pallets (3 on each) the chargers are not. (10/31/2009)
Response: Will the loading be dock to dock? (10/31/2009)
Response: I really dont know for the pick up, I know that the stuff is not at the dock, it is inside the premisses, and I dont know either if there will be people available to help you out. You would have to coordinate with the lady in charge of the warehouse. The delivery is to the warehouse dock. (10/31/2009)
Response: We are in belief that this is going to county line road. (10/31/2009)
Question: Would a bid of 400.00 help you out better? (10/31/2009)
Question: Should we place the bid for your acceptance? (10/31/2009)
Question: Hi Shipper,I know that you are grappling with price, but legal companies stay in business by charging fair and just rates. We will pick up Monday AM and deliver late monday afternoon or first thing Tuesday. If price is your only concern, then I thank you for the chance to bid on your shipment anyway. (10/31/2009)
Response: Dear Sir, it is unfortunate to say that on this particular situation, price is the main concern as the value of stuff to be picked up is very low and not fragile at all. I totally understand where you come from and I hope to do business with you in the future as you sound to be a great professional at what you do. Best regards. (10/31/2009)
