Question: What is it you are shipping?...i will need to know specifics in order to have shipped. I am interested in making a bid. Thanks (2/18/2008)

Response: We are shipping used FLAT FILES. They are used for storing maps drawings etc. Each drawer holds paper up to 36x48. (2/18/2008)

Response: what are the flat files made out of? Thanks (2/18/2008)

Response: Steel. Think of these as file cabinets on their sides that were fed steriods...lol (2/18/2008)

Question: I placed a bid...what is your target price? Maybe should have asked that before I bid however. Thanks
(2/18/2008)

Response: We are selling these to a customer in Florida. He was unhappy with the bid we had from FEDEX of $500. So we suggested we list this for him on USHIP.COM. He is also requesting that a pallet jack be available with the delivery to unload.
ALSO!!!! I noticed you are a broker, I just listed a full semi load from New York to West Va, there will be 7 additional truckloads form the same facility to WEST VA & OHIO. Please look at. Thank You dale (2/18/2008)

Question: Do you have a target price? (2/18/2008)

Response: Thank You for your inquiry. We sold these files to our customer whom is asking us to solict quotes for the shipping.FEDEX quoted $500 and he felt that was too expensive. We will then submit all the quotes we recieve to him for his review. Thank You dale (2/19/2008)

Response: Thanks, I was looking to ship this without a pallet, hand loaded. Our bid would be about $350.00 thanks. (2/18/2008)

Response: The customer I am selling these is looking to have them unloaded with a pallet jack from the loading dock to his area all within the same storage facility. If you hand loaded you would have to assure me you would have another person with you to help you unload. The drawers do come out all the way, so it could be accomplished with a hand truck. Let me know what you think. Dale (2/19/2008)

Question: Have you shipped this yet?
Iannick at 247 express logistics (2/27/2008)

Response: This shipment is still available. (2/29/2008)

Response: Great, now with a little flexibility, I might be able to save you some more money. But this would be my absolute highest for this shipment. I am hoping to hitch a ride with one of my drivers next week and we can save you hopefully about 45.00 (2/29/2008)

Response: My buyer says he is ok with the $430, but I want to confirm you understand we are looking for you to unload "inside" the building and put them in place per customers instructions. This would require 2 people and at lease a hand truck if not a pallet jack. (2/29/2008)

Response: Ok, well, I guess I didn't see that portion about 2 people. I'll have only one driver who could have a pallet jack and do the inside delivery for you and our price would be 470.00 total. My Driver would have a pallet jack with him so I can't use him since he fills his truck up. I can do some looking around really quick and I'll get back with you either by the end of today or Monday, are you ready for pu today or Monday at this point?
thanks again,
Iannick (2/29/2008)

Response: This was paid with a personal check so it wil have to clear first. I am a little confused in your reply. With a pallet jack this can be accomplished with one person. Are you hauling this on a semi or straight truck or? I can stack the files on the pallet the way the customer wants them. He desires the files be left on the pallets, so it is a really easy delivery. His building has a loading dock. As far as the $470 versus the $430, all I can do is ask him?? Wanted to get back with you before I contact him again. He would pay you upon delivery. Please advise, Thank You dale (3/1/2008)

Response: Yeah it would be great if he had this palletized, I'm hauling it with one of my LTL carriers so they carrier their pallet jacks usually with a 28' pup truck. We don't want him to pay a driver directly, we can do a ccard or do a check sent to our company. Maybe even invoice your customer. Anyway, let me know what your thinking.
Thanks Dale,
Iannick (2/29/2008)

Response: I can provide you up with his contact information and he will pay you directly. Can I convince you to accept this shipment at $430 using the pallet jack? (I already had told him about your bid) Let me know your decision and I will confirm with him. Thank You dale (2/29/2008)

Response: We can accept the 430, but I have to get the 470 amount, it costs me 40.00 exactly for an inside delivery, now I will work on getting one of haulers that can potentially have a pallet jack and we'll try for a few days to get a better price for your customer. But just accept and we'll figure out the other details. (2/29/2008)

Response: Well I will have to call the customer back as I told him $430 and while I fully understand where you are coming it is his money not mine. I think the $470 is reasonable but we had a couple other bids and I am going to let him decide. I like the fact you had very positive feedback and I think that should be considered! Thank You dale (2/29/2008)
