Response: Hey Scott, I forgot to ask something in my previous message. You state that you do not provide insurance. So, who is responsible for the value of the item if you unfortunately were involved in a traffic altercation or if damage occurred to the item/s during transit? Also, what about the payment of your fee? Is that C.O.D. after an inspection of item upon delivery to my location? Please understand I'm not trying to be weird; just trying to cover the bases. Question: i am new to this uship and all the questions and answers that you and i could think of could be answered and finalaized in a few minutes on the phone however there is no real way for us to do that or discuss anyting outside of this public forum that i can find my vehicle is fully insured however since i do not do this for profit or a bussiness i do not carry additional insurance if anyone can tell me how to obtain additional "trip insurance" that would be helpful if we could make a deal and talk i can provide you with all my information and even my company / farm names i could give personal references and even a few friends i have hauled cars trucks and tractors for but all that would be private till we could speak outside this public forum ---scott (6/21/2006)

Response: Good evening Scott, I think we can work things out but I need to know if the pickup date can be changed to 6/26 Monday or possibly 06/27 Tuesday ? I'm sitting here online and if the pickup day can be changed, we can work out the details over the phone once uShip allows us to communicate freely. Question: go to my bid and hit ask driver a question it is just you and i e-mailing then but the best i could do is deliver maybe monday iam supposed to pick up a tractor in sonoma monday but could bump it up a day or possibly drop it off in roseburg {for reduced price} with relatives who have forklift if you could pick it up from there i dont know what your capabilities are (6/22/2006)
