Additional Information: New online business selling bbq sauce. We would like to establish a relationship with a shipping company that will work with us as we grow. We are shipping cases of bbq sauce (12 glass bottles per case/18 oz per bottle). The number of cases per week will increase as the business grows. We will also eventually be shipping other food items. Report a Violation

Question: Are you talking about a truckload every week or just a few cases every now and then? (11/5/2009)
Response: Just a few cases every now and then. We are selling bbq sauce and would like to offer it via internet. However, shipping charges at USPS, UPS, etc make the cost per bottle ridiculously high. Once we are more established -- as with any new company -- we will be able to increase the volume produced, thereby reducing our costs per bottle to produce them. We will also be able to increase our shipping volume and thereby decrease our shipping costs. In the meantime, we need to figure out a way to ship small numbers of bottles (no more than one dozen, which is one case) for a very reasonable rate. Thank you for inquiring. (11/6/2009)
