Response: The provider seemed excellent indeed, but that bid was far above our price range. I had looked online at shipping estimates and was expecting something much lower. Shipping by plane is usually less than $500. This rate was equivalent to shipping an entire vehicle across country. If someone can offer a significantly lower rate, we really need to get him here, but don't have that kind of money. Thanks! (5/17/2008)
Response: I completely understand what you are saying, however transporting someones Pet is a little different than moving a vehicle or freight. These are alive...someone loves them very much....it takes a little more effort, time, and patience. If you can posibly get him on a plane for less than $500 then you should. Question: Hello, No worries on declining our bid. I just wanted to point out to you that even if the temps get low enough to ship your pup by plane; I am sure the person at p/up will have to drive several hundred miles to and from the airport you choose in Texas. We provide door to door for around $100 more than an airline; which would be far less than your fuel and time on both ends. [removed – unrelated to services offered] (5/18/2008)
